How many of you have been watching many of these NPK racers since the very beginning episodes of Street Outlaws? Do you remember when Ryan Martin and Jeff Lutz stopped by Shaun "Big Chief" and Shawn's "Murder Nova" shop and asked to be a part of the show?
Great job filming. I was bummed that this season of NPK wasn’t going to be available to watch. Then, you started posting these. I like it so much better. You aren’t manufacturing drama for any TV networks and showing the same clip of an argument 15 times, you’re just showing the racers and the racing. No bullshit. I came for Murder Nova and stayed to watch the rest.

Looks like Kye and Dean are a team together. Dean has always been a good driver. Kye is helping Dean tune. IDK which things Dean is helping Kye with. On the live feed the drone camera actually captured a chunk of either a rod or block flying over the top of Ryan’s car as it went through the lights. Very cool shot.
Great show JJ! Always a good time and very professional filming! My choice would be Pro Charger. Here's why, Turbos are for sure not the best for NPK, Personally I find turbos best for roll acing or something like that. Screws are cool in NPK only if you know how to use them and use them without breaking them, i.e. Broken blower belts, broken drives, running'em lean,ect. Pro Chargers just work for all applications except maybe roll racing. Again, there turbos have the advantage! Thanks for all you do!!!
For B rad to do that well after just rebuilding with a minimal crew is awesome. And after such a bad wreck. A lot bigger teams aren’t able to make passes like that
His family crew does a heck of a job. B Rad Eglin did most of the work himself. After getting all the frame tack welded together, he took it to a pro welder to make sure the final welds will be really strong. He was spending where he had to in order to insure safety. Not that he cares, but I am so proud of him and his family!
Stopped when you're talking to Mr Ranking, man I love the way his older sons truck gets down..now I don't know if he's still driving it but the way they left the poteina/rust spots but underneath it has everything it needs.. Chris, personally I'd keep him in tailgate while he gets all the experience he needs... I've watched you race this same car, turbo combo forever, these cars i love, there's not a nut or bolt that you personally haven't put in and took out, not many people who have stayed with what got them to the party...Jaden is a great driver and tuner on a street racing surface, good luck @ChrisRankin. 🤝🙏🇮🇪🙏🇺🇲🙏🤝
Chris Rankin is a great driver. I haven't met him which I count as my loss. The way he treats his boys and everyone at the track I do believe he is a high character man. That means a lot to me. 1) My typing is terrible 2) I USED to have a good vocabulary but I now have forgotten more than I remember. 3) My spelling is questionable at best. You have stepped up your video game. They are turning out very nice. Know they killed live feed. Maybe can do a 10 or 20 question interview with drivers each race let us get to know them better
Bobby Ducote and Disco Dean really putting together better passes. I am THRILLED to see Brad Eglin not only get back to racing but starting to get some of his speed back. It will take a minute, but the future looks so much better when you are making gains. I hope and pray that Ryan's problems aren't big. Swanstrom's hotrod "Bad Blood",, even though I'm personally tired of seeing '69 Camaro's,, looks amazingly "BAD AZZ MEAN" doesn't it. I wish (since it's really not that big a deal aerodynamically) some of the NPK teams would bring out more MoPar's. Kye drives a Buick and it is AWESOME, Disco Dean a Cadillac, Joe Woods "Dominator" drives a '67/8 or 69 Dart (can't remember), Chris Rankin an 80 (not sure the year) Daytona. I'd like to see someone bring a '67 Satellite, '70 Road Runner, '70 AAR Cuda,, maybe even a '57 Plymouth "Christine",, you know,, something different than the norm would be cool.
I was at BBP for the 1st sports nationals in 1974 an had a press pass to take pics from the starting line. It was pretty awesome but had a top fuel funny car explode his engine during the burn out and damn ne lost my life. Chunks of red hot aluminum missed me by inches. After that I moved back about 20 feet and used the zoom on the lens. Back then the track did not allow spectators that close to the starting line because of how dangerous it can be. The fans need to be back behind the fence and stay there.
I would take a Pro Charger over a screw blower, the reason is I see more drive belts break on screw blowers than input shafts break on Pro Chargers. To win NPK, you have to be fast and consistent.
