How did choosing title (a palindrome) figure into plot (eg. centered by lucky 7)?
N has a modern exploitation in Ukraine: Operation Z (Hey N (Nazi)! Bang, you're Zed!)

"White rain." "Red rain." The interviewer obviously hadn't read the novel, or at the least taken concrete notes, before he interviewed Neil Stephenson.

hard rain. (almost sounds like the title of a country or blues song.)

If you continued watching, it's obvious he did read the book. I'm doing a re-read/listen and chasing down interviews, reviews and criticism, and every person who talks about this book flubs "hard rain," usually by mashing it together with "white sky" in some way, and I'm sure many of them have it written down right in front of them. A lot happens after that point, and the events are even somewhat glossed over in the narrative to keep the emphasis on the survivors. By the time someone finishes the book, it is literally ancient history.

He literally gets every character name wrong or forgets it. At best, he skimmed it.
