But in Korea it's difficult not to fit in and artists branded as different really do have to jump high hell and water just for people to appreciate their craft. I think it got better with fancy/Breakthrough/(feel special)/basically their newer songs because they aren't as high pitched and the themes suit Momos voice better (If that makes any sense.) That is something I am always impressed by when he dances next to Koharu. They do the same dance moves, and they both do them with such incredible skill but they execute those moves slightly differently. Koharu moves with so much power, where Taemin moves with a more liquid grace (not to say Koharu isn't graceful and that Taemin isn't powerful). Taemin doesn't just switch up the gender roles in the choreography that he chooses, he switches up the gender roles in how he executes those moves. He was dancing next to Koharu, an extremely beautiful woman and yet he was dancing in a traditionally feminine way and she was dancing in a traditionally masculine way. It is just so freaking cool. Anyway. Sorry. I have been on a Taemin binge all afternoon, I have them once every couple of months. I don't mean to ignore Momo and Jihyo, they did an incredible job as well, I really enjoyed hearing this different vocal style from them. I tend to prefer deeper vocals, to the higher vocals that Twice normally use.

Generally speaking, JYP group leaders are expected to do everything well, on top of being leaders. Wonder Girls' Sunye, 2AM's Jo Kwon, 2PM's Jay Park (before he left), GOT7's JB, Day6's Sungjin, Stray Kids' Bang Chan, ITZY's Yeji... all of them are in the upper-half of all skills amongst their members, and most are triple-threats. It's just that the leader role takes up such a large burden that other positions are given to the other members instead, to balance out the responsibilities.

This performance was AMAZING. I can’t believe how much Momo’s vocals improved. I was sh00k. And she danced like the main dancer she is, her moves were clean and passionate, she ate this. But can we talk about Jihyo ?? she was with TWO main dancers and she still shined, she gave her 1000% on this stage, even tho she is “only” a main vocal. She managed to keep her voice perfect and dance like there was no tomorrow. AND TAEMIN ?? I have not seen him dance a lot, but his moves were mesmerizing. He could just lift his head and capture my eyes. Every little movement was perfect. I can’t believe he has so much talent in him. I am so thankful for their hard work, their passion, and that is why we, kpop fans, should be grateful. Our idols give their best to blow out minds, to make us dream. Alex Hastings I think Momo’s vocal has always been this good. Sadly, Twice songs require vocal techniques that stop her from showing her real vocal and at some points make her vocal sound annoying.
Mina Nguyen True, she has a really pretty voice. I don’t find her vocals annoying in Twice songs but definitely weaker than when she performs songs like this. Either way, she’s always going to be my bias and I will always be proud of her. 😊

it's crazy how taemin is delicate where momo and jihyo are sharp, and sharp when the girls are delicate. taemin's dance always delivers imo
That is something I am always impressed by when he dances next to Koharu. They do the same dance moves, and they both do them with such incredible skill but they execute those moves slightly differently. Koharu moves with so much power, where Taemin moves with a more liquid grace (not to say Koharu isn't graceful and that Taemin isn't powerful). Taemin doesn't just switch up the gender roles in the choreography that he chooses, he switches up the gender roles in how he executes those moves. He was dancing next to Koharu, an extremely beautiful woman and yet he was dancing in a traditionally feminine way and she was dancing in a traditionally masculine way. It is just so freaking cool.
Anyway. Sorry. I have been on a Taemin binge all afternoon, I have them once every couple of months.
I don't mean to ignore Momo and Jihyo, they did an incredible job as well, I really enjoyed hearing this different vocal style from them. I tend to prefer deeper vocals, to the higher vocals that Twice normally use.
There's this thing about Jihyo's eyes that's so captivating... makes all your attention go to her

When Jihyo performed this with Momo on their tour, everyone was stunned that she could keep up with her SO well.
Well now she managed to keep up with Taemin, the King of Dance, as well as Momo.
You would never think she hasn't got a dance position in Twice.
This proves that the lead dancers of twice are so talented since a non lead dancer like jihyo can keep up with momo and taemin

Wonder Girls' Sunye, 2AM's Jo Kwon, 2PM's Jay Park (before he left), GOT7's JB, Day6's Sungjin, Stray Kids' Bang Chan, ITZY's Yeji... all of them are in the upper-half of all skills amongst their members, and most are triple-threats. It's just that the leader role takes up such a large burden that other positions are given to the other members instead, to balance out the responsibilities.

This performance was AMAZING. I can’t believe how much Momo’s vocals improved. I was sh00k. And she danced like the main dancer she is, her moves were clean and passionate, she ate this. But can we talk about Jihyo ?? she was with TWO main dancers and she still shined, she gave her 1000% on this stage, even tho she is “only” a main vocal. She managed to keep her voice perfect and dance like there was no tomorrow. AND TAEMIN ?? I have not seen him dance a lot, but his moves were mesmerizing. He could just lift his head and capture my eyes. Every little movement was perfect. I can’t believe he has so much talent in him.
I am so thankful for their hard work, their passion, and that is why we, kpop fans, should be grateful.

Alex Hastings I think Momo’s vocal has always been this good. Sadly, Twice songs require vocal techniques that stop her from showing her real vocal and at some points make her vocal sound annoying.
Mina Nguyen True, she has a really pretty voice. I don’t find her vocals annoying in Twice songs but definitely weaker than when she performs songs like this. Either way, she’s always going to be my bias and I will always be proud of her. 😊
