Wish I still lived there in a village called henllan 4 miles from emlyn where I grew up I was surprised not to see any layouts of local stations Carmarthen bronwydd llanpumpsaint pencader llandysul pentrecwrt henllan or emlyn I’m currently working on a layout called my back yard Modelled on henllan as it has lots to offer from coal, grain, live stock, goods ,milk ,wool ,& more But still a great show
Thank you for your comment, Phil. Thats very interesting to hear about your own layout, it would be very nice to see it once it is completed. I have seen a few layouts inspired by local stations, but not enough! I hope to one day be able to create a layout inspired by a local station. I’m happy you watched and enjoyed the video of the show. Thanks very much for watching!
I’m very interested in going over to 009 for a small portable layout for showing, but I’m not really able to lay out anything smaller than 00 because I just can’t see it properly.
Unfortunately I was unable to film this layout as there was always a crowd around it when I went to film. Hopefully I will see it again at another show in future where I can film it then. Thanks for watching!
@@CymruRails I'll let you off, it's my layout and a brief mention would have been nice! Its purpose is to get members of the public involved so in a way it's good you could not get near with your camera! Next booked outing is Llwyncelyn August 11th '24 Phil
@@Gilfachphil-bi8kb Hi Phil, sorry I couldn't video the layout at the exhibition. I had limited time and couldn't get a clear shot as I mentioned. I will be at the show at Llwyncelyn on August 11th and will film the layout then. Thanks very much!
I appreciate your feedback. I enjoy model railways from all over the world and wouldn't wish to exclude any country's railways displayed at the show in model form. It's great to see such diverse and intricate models from different regions.
Lamphey is a lovely layout. Lots of lovely trains, lots of track and lots of good things. It’s got just about everything going for it!!
I enjoyed this one very much as well
Glad you liked the layout! 😊
Sehr schöne Eindrücke!
Gorgeous Great Western Railmotor!! Mine is like the preserved one in red. I must say it’s one of the best steam items ever made!!
Very cool!
Great local exhibition. Got a dcc fitted 4 Mt for only 60 quid and a hornby coach for only 25, some great steals
I’m glad you had a nice time! I didn’t pick up anything this time, but I was tempted 😅 Maybe next time
Lovely show.. used to live in Camarthen, half way across the world now.. Rosebud city reminded me of Milwaukee!
Really happy you enjoyed the video! Happy that you were able to find it 😊
Excellent work!!
Thank you! Cheers, Ian 😊 Very nice to meet you properly at this exhibition
@@CymruRails And you!

Great footage! I wish there was narrow gauge at the only British show across the pond
Thanks very much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video, hopefully there will be more narrow gauge railways in your area sometime soon!
@@CymruRails I wish but probably not
lamphey was a lovely layout altough why did the 150 kept stopping? Also was lamphey OO gauge or n gauge
It's OO guage and dirty track! It was the layouts first exhibition as well

That’s a shame. I would probably have the same issue with narrow gauge
Where's the shunting puzzle?
