Como dato curioso. A final de cada año, en diciembre, venden toda la mercancia oficial sobrante de todos los conciertos que hubo durante todo el año a precios más accesibles. El lugar está justo enfrente, en el palacio de los deportes. As a curious fact, at the end of each year, in December, they sell all the official merchandise left over from all the concerts that took place throughout the year at more affordable prices. The place is right across the street, in the sports palace.

i thought 800 pesos for a shirt is about 45 USD. i saw Metallica in NYC as well and the shirt were also about $50. To me the shirts seems pretty on line. but i guess for the average Mexico salary these are crazy prices.
@@danbowskimexico hope one day dan, so we can hang out to al lot of shows together ab buy merch without saving like one year haha 🫡, i saw a los of guys buying like more that 3 official tees my god, but yeah i like more the bootleg experience hope to see u on friday
Hey Dan, just wondering, do you know if the official merch stand is also outside the venue? I tried getting the Jump In The Fire one last Sunday but the size I wanted was sold out, since I have no tickets for next weekend I thought on looking for it outside the venue, thanks
I spent about two hours outside on Sunday, and the only official merch stands were after passing through with your ticket. I think the Jump In The Fire one you're talking about is the newer one, that's the same demon as the original, but drawn differently? Well, they sell the original one at El Chopo, if that helps. They have it in black, white, red and yellow. There are several vendors there who have it. I'm planning on getting one myself this Saturday.
Another wonderful video Dan. I can see your excitment in your eyes and voice.
Right on, Randers! Special video just for you, coming up on Friday!
Gimme the classic designs from 80s and 90s. Id pay for that.
Great video Dan!

Ah, I've heard about that for years, but never been.

Con el precio de una "original" te compras 4 piratas..
Yes, the key thing is the massive difference in salaries, and cost of living.
The Polanco of merchandise stands.
Ha, yes. Total fresas.
I went to the first concert on September 20th, and it was Amazing.
But there is better Quality and cheaper stuff to buy outside the stadium.
PUISCALZADA is the name of the designer

But what about the bootleg merch? You find good stuff there!
The best.
Todo bien caro
yeah the prices were terrible and really want something cool. I only got a t shirt outside the arena.
Join the club!
$600 pesos for a t-shirt is overpriced, I buy a t-shirt for $400 pesos when they come in 2012. The last guy at the end of the video is also canadian?
Yep, Canadian at the end. I think his name was Nathan. We spoke for like 10 minutes.
same price as US. nothing outrageous about that.
Yes, it is outrageous. Do you think the average Mexican salary is the same as the average salary in the US? A shirt is two days pay for some people.
@@danbowskimexico I know what you are saying, but Metallica does a full show, not a discounted show. They still have to get paid.
Right, but I didn't say they should do a doscounted shirt. I'm just saying the prices are ridiculous, as does any Mexican you ask.
Ni en el gabacho hay esos precios. Puro canguro.
Que carajos significa "canguro"?
Canguro? No hables con dialectos en un canal de UA-cam que lo ven personas en todo el mundo
