I think in our Phish phandumb we fly too close to the sun by watching and obsessing over every show. While the Oblivion, Sightless Escape didn’t work for you it felt fresh and different to me. I loved the jam in Fuego that didn’t move you as much. Phish is like a 35-5 College Basketball National Champion except the 5 Ls are in our heads.
I'm very easily entertained. If my wife and I go to the movies theater, I will absolutely enjoy the movie. Doesn't matter what they show. Even I thought the show was... dry. The setlist didn't excite me. Listening through the show this morning ingredients and it's more uneven then they've been recently. Just... meh. [And yes, I've commented to you previously about being overly negative and it was uncalled for and I apologize.]
Funny I was just saying to my son that Santos can just about ruin a WHOLE show for me, not really but I think you understand what I am saying. Terrible song, only enjoyed by the Chompers.
