Thanks for these videos and for the amazing Customer support Ive received during my install. The documentation is pretty good, but I did end up having a few questions and I was able to get ahold of a live tech person every single time Ive called. These really are an amazing product and I am very please with how my system is turning. Thanks for all your work, its really helped me and my family prepare for what I think is inevitably coming, especially with the water and dam levels dropping in the Western US. The grid is going to be taxed in ways weve never seen.

as far as I understand, sol-ark and Deye are made at the same factory, since they have almost identical cases, the same element base, and the same software

I have this unit at my home. It's been beeping since yesterday. I tried to reset it by turning it off and back on, still no power. Just keeps beeping. What else can I do?

Another great video. Are there any extra relays that can be set up on a timer......for example, what if I wanted to start my diesel gen set at 6am but it's the middle of winter in Alaska and 50 below. Is there a relay that can kick in say at 4am and start and engine block heater on the gen set and warm it up for 2 hours before trying to start it and then kick off a minute or two after the engine is running? I wouldn't want a block heater running all night drawing 750 watts.
Some thing else that would be nice is if the grid went down in the middle of the night or while you were gone on vacation or traveling for work, there was some sort of temp sensor by the gen set or batteries or where ever, that would trigger the relay to start warming up the engine BEFORE your batteries were drained completely and the gen set would kick in charge them up. Kind of like an emergency type setting it defaults to that is set up for your situational needs. Keep up the great work.

That is some seriously brutal winter conditions we don't think about in Texas. I believe you can buy a timer / temp based circuit that would trigger off the 2 wire gen start control of the Sol-Ark to delay starting the generator. Thanks for feedback.

My solar ark in its solar panel symbol is showing a square. Could you tell me why? In Puerto Rico we just had another hurricane, Fiona, and we were without power for over a week.

22:45 What will happen if there is a power utility outage, and Battery dropped below 60%?
Will Sol-Ark stop delivering power to Load? Or will Sol-Ark ignore the TIme Of Use settings because there is a utility outage?

      Hi XYZ,
In a grid outage, the inverter will ignore the Time of Use settings and discharge the battery as needed to cover loads until the Battery Shutdown value is reached. The Battery Shutdown value is located in the Battery Setup menu under the Discharge tab.

What was that comment about the Grid wattage being negative when selling back to grid and also in limited to home mode mean? What is limited to home mode and why would it show the same as if you're sending back to the grid?

Curious what are the standard temps for the DC and AC for the unit.

Inverters have a higher temperature tolerance than lithium batteries. Lithium batteries operate from -20F (discharge) to 0F (charge) to about 90F (derating) to 130F (cut off). Battery cycles are typically rated at 77F/25C and will last longest if maintained with a 50F-85F temp range.

Is this unit as noisy as the Growatt? When buying my unit was not oriented that Growatt is very noisy and only use is as a backup because of that.
