BMW F30 low beam malfunction - Xenon HID headlight bulb replacement

I got the warning light of low beam malfunction on my BMW 335i F30. This light means the headlight bulb has gone out in my HID headlights. I found the OEM bulbs on amazon and included a link below. The price at the local autoparts store was 99 USD each but I was able to find them for less than ½ of that price. The ones I purchased were the same as the OEM bulbs in the car. This video takes you through the very easy procedure of replacing the burnt out bulb with the new one.

Hahaha... yes, I see that. The glove was so I didn't risk getting oil on the bulb. When I used my ungloved hand it was fiddling with the clips and connectors but still a funny observation. :) Thanks for watching!

Interesting, I saw a video where only the bulb was replaced, not the housing that holds the bulb.

Yes it is. Same bulb and same procedure. Many recommend to change them both at the same time. Not bad advice but not 100 percent necessary.

@@uglytruth21 Sounds like you mean the "angel eyes" portion. There is another bulb that lights that. I've changed it in my e90 but I think it is a little different in F30s. I haven't made a video for the F30 on that yet but if you search for F30 Angel Eye replacement you might find one.
