I recalled my first experience speaking in tongues in 1999. I had a spiritual hunger and I asked God for the gift of speaking in tongues. It was such an amazing experience. My relationship with God went to another level ever since. I’m so proud of you sharing this with the world. Continue to keep the faith.

I desire the gifts of tongues not because to say I have the gift of tongues because I want a deeper relationship with God. Wanted more of Him! I feel prayer is the KEY to draw near to God. Alr so say he wasn't talking abt tongues of angels, like you asked for the angels what will they speak if their tongues seize? I ask the same for humans, what will we speak if our tongues seize? @NoName-yu7qm 1Corinthians 13:1 let's you know that it's very possible and even 1Corinthians 14:2 let's us know that he ain't talking about tongues of men cuz then he wouldn't say "others don't understand but only God" and that "He speaks mysteries in the spirit". If you don't believe you can just ask God and you'll get the gift dw you just talking like this cuz you never tried or you did and weren't patient enough to get the gift so you gave up and concluded it's all fake
I received the gift of the Holy Spirit after watching your video while in devotion this morning. I believe it was already given to me, it truly was just a matter of me opening my heart and mouth to move on the utterance that was being given. Just listening to you talk is soo comforting. Thank you sis we appreciate you. I’ve been on my journey searching for God and watching this made me realise how human I am I tried soo hard to just be perfect but I kept failing, the bible says his power is made perfect in weakness. I’m weak and soo desperate for God. I’m turning 21 this year can you pray for me that God visits me and renews my spirit. I’m not too big or great to ask for prayer.

Be conscient of the righteousness of God in you. Meditate on the Word a lot...this means confessing it to yourself...especially the epistles. Don t mind doing it for hours

I read the Bible alone and don’t go to church because I don’t drive. And I dont have friends to study with. I was told that to be saved I had to go to church and surround myself with Christians. So that made me upset, but I then learned that to to be saved we just had to believe that Jesus alone is our Savior and we have to believe in him. Which I did. But I start questioning “What does it mean to believe?, How do I know if I’m believing?” I don’t like that, I then prayed and asked God to please give me the gift of speaking in tongues, I opened my mouth and silence. But I tried it 4 more times and still silence. Then again I had questions “Am I not believing yet? Or was I not saved?” I know I’m not supposed to doubt and instead believe that I received it but it’s just so confusing. I know I will speak in tongues someday and I will not give up and I hope that it will be this year. 🙏🏼
I understand not being able to attend church regularly because of not driving however as I have been seeking to speak in tongues myself I have read testimonies online where people have received this gift in a church setting where the spirit of God is allowed to flow freely. I think there is a certain power in people of the same faith coming together. The day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was released and people began speaking in tongues for the first time it was a setting where a lot of people were together and filled with faith at once. I think it may help you to be surrounded by faith filled Christians that believe in speaking in tongues and are doing that around you and are there to pray for you. It may only take one time. If you could get a ride to a Spirit filled church even just one time where you know they believe in speaking in tongues and ask someone to pray for you it will likely release the gift of speaking in tongues fully in you.🙏🏻❤️
it’s a lot of just accepting HIS timing! it’s a gift and all you can do is receive it, you can’t work for it, you can’t fast for it, you can’t be “pure” enough for it. He will give it to you when ur ready! receive it in faith when that day comes and don’t chase the gift more than the giver!

So called speaking in tongues in a heavenly language is demonic. Tongues just means different languages in the bible.

@@BettahThanIDeserve amen can you write this as a comment. When it comes to spirituality, you also need to be well aware of these things to ensure you have the right spirit. Tongues are languages. Greek, Spanish, English, Zulu, Arabic, they are all tongues. The bible bids us to test the spirits we have and find out if they are from God

I was very depressed this morning,I have too many pending bills to pay , sometimes I thought of haming myself , but the moment I listened this I got inspired, I have been desiring to speak in tongues all my life , but I have learnt the critics of how to start .I really feel encouraged.

The Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. Speaking in " tongues" is the Spirit confirming that the believer has recieved the Holy Spirit.

I was taught to pray in tongues more than 40 years ago, when I was 12. I have always had it as a source of deeper connection and it always inspires peace. Your video was a blessing because it renewed and refreshed the experience for me. Thank you for sharing so gracefully.

I had a very frightening experience and after waking up from an operation I was speaking in tongues for hours, I couldn't speak anything else. I was looked after by Christian nurses in Jamica and they knew what I was speaking in. I loved those nurses and it has changed my life. I didnt try again to talk in it, as it was organic and it felt like a river flowing out of my mouth, where when I speak in English, I know it's coming from my prefrontal lobe, this is effortless and takes no thinking. I can now do it and my kiddies say to me "mummy you use to always talk like that when we were little, I just wanted to pretend I could speak another language, it's only waking up from the operation and couldn't speak anything else, that I knew the holy spirit was in me protecting me from evil. I needed protection and I had I it. It was the worse and best experience of my life. Amen Yeshua. So maybe I always had the gift, but it took that for me to realise. Thankyou for this video x

Anyone beating themself up over the fact that they aren’t speaking in tongues yet, remember that we never deserve or earn these gifts , God does them so we can do His will.
Speaking in " tongues", which is one spiritual language that first occurs as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. The Spirit baptism is how the Holy Spirit is recieved.
Millions of believers today are like the old testament prophets. The Spirit of God came upon them, filled them, but then departed for a time because God had not yet allowed man to recieve the Holy Spirit as a permanently indwelling presence.
That is why John the baptist made such a point of telling people that the one to come after him, Jesus, would baptize them with the Holy Spirit.
After I believed, repented, and was water baptized I prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill me with His presence until the Lord answered my prayer and filled me. Two altar workers, who had already been baptized in the Holy Spirit, layed hands on me and prayed for me.
Then I had to consciously surrender my tongue to the Holy Spirit. The Word says that no man can tame his tongue ( James 3:8).
Man can't but God can. I continued to relax and surrender my tongue to the Spirit until He took control of it, " tamed" it, and allowed me to speak in " tongues".
Once that happened the filling overflowed, which is what Spirit baptism is, while at the same time the Holy Spirit joined with my spirit to forever remain in me and a part of me.
That is why in the parable if the ten virgins (Matt 25:1-13) the five foolish virgins could not enter the wedding feast. They had had the Holy Spirit come upon them and fill them but had never been baptized in the Holy Spirit. When the Lord said, " I never knew you", He said so because they had never been joined to Him spiritually as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism.

Speaking in tongues is a special language of expression that only God (and those who God has ordained to interpret specific utterances) would understand. When I became a Christian by faith I later noticed I had the urge to speak in "other" languages but didn't know about speaking on tongues sat the time o I suppressed it as just a silly thing I liked to do, just because I could.... Now I know the truth.
This is a gift that I am so hungry for. I pray to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and evidence of speaking in tongues.

please remember everyone the words of our Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit did NOT come to glorify Himself but to speak and show the things belonging to Christ. The holy Spirit will only ever glorify Jesus Christ, not Himself.

it is He who baptizes - immerses us in the Holy Spirit.
We speak in tongues in the name of Jesus.
We heal people in the name of Jesus.
We cast our demons in the name of Jesus.
We preach the Gospel in the name of Jesus Christ.
While we do all things things BY - in, or with the power of the Holy Ghost (Spirit), we do them IN the name of Jesus. We don't do them in the name of the Holy Spirit.

The nine body gifts of the spirit are used for our edification. The headship gifts of the 5 fold ministry are for authority and vocation ref.Eph.4.
In practical terms we are used to pray over those in the body God uses the gifts of the Spirit the body gifts word of knowledge ,prophecy speaking in tongues Interpretation of tongues, faith, wisdom healing, miracles ref. 1Cor.12
That he ministers through us when praying over others "one at a time".
To work out our own salvation with fear and trembling Like one community constructing the house of one member of the community.
This is also how we strengthen our bond together as a family / community of believers as we suffer together in love in the bonds of peace ref. Eph. 4
Essentially praying over others in order to get the old trauma experiences out this is also called the deliverance of the new creation into the world, the old unforgiven offenses among other things evil etc. are the placenta Which is in need of coming out for it has been in there for along time festering and infecting the heart.

I am concerned reading your comment because that is exactly how I feel about it till the first time I spoke in tongues. When I started it was me just wanting to speak it out but as I continue, I couldn't stop it until I groaned. My dear I did groaned till I fall to my knees.
