Had me going with the wording of the title. 2022 was a good wheeling year for myself. On to better wheeling! First trip out in the morning 1-7-23 since I met ya'll before Halloween. Meeting some of my buddies at Table Mesa Rd. Time to get rowdy in my little TJ. 👍

Bronson, I noticed you like to let that LS eat, when you’re on the road, to the trail. What I want to know is, how much water are you running in those front tires? How is the sloshing when you’re on it, while you’re cruising, at speed, and when braking? Maybe this topic is worth a video? 🤷♂️ Looking forward to your response. See you in Bagdad. 👍🍻👊
Bronson will give you a better answer than can, but here is what I know: We typically run water in our front tires to the top of the hub, give or take. There isn't too much noticeable sloshing with this amount of water. It does slosh sometimes at speed, but not bad enough to be upset about it. Cruising, hardly ever. Braking, I've ever noticed it. BUT! This is my insight from the passenger's seat. Bronson may feel it more than I can, as he is in control of the car. Good video topic!!
I run top of the hub. the of the hubs in the BFG's and they have been very well mannered. only time I really notice it is on payment. dirt roads really help because the little bumps agitate the water and it keeps it from sloshing as much. The TSL's I had a lot more sloshing but I think it was due to running 3-5lbs of pressure so I'm not sure if having more of a flat spot in the tire caused this or what but I tried a few different levels with them and top of the hub seemed to me the most tame. I think the BFG's due to running them at 13front and 11 rear. keeps them more round and doesn't cause the slosh as much. I'm sure there is a better science on this. I'm just giving my experience and thoughts. I think its a great video Idea and I will dig a little more into it for us.
