Thank you to Nina for sharing her story. You can find out about the work Nina does at www.ninaaouilk.com and endhonourkillings.org/ Follow her on instagram at instagram.com/londonslifecoach/?hl=en
Why would you divide her message into 2 parts? The first part completely skips the purpose of her sharing her story. It feels disrespectful to Nina. That being said, thank you for giving her a voice so many people refused to.
She has an extreme amount of empathy and compassion for people because of the things she has gone through, she understands what it's like to be at the bottom of the barrel and she doesn't want anyone else to feel like that.
@thezoldics7648 No. Patriarchy is definitely not worse in the west than in india. And it has everything to do with culture!!! Honor killings, acid attacks etc. are so common in india, why do you think that is? CULTURE
@thezoldics7648 This is at least the second time you have posted this message and I am going to call you out on this horse-dung . There has been misogyny and we all fight the Patriarchy but we do not tolerate anywhere close to this kind of abuse. Please stop with the false equivalency. Just because she is trying to bring light to this dark subject does not mean you have to take it personally. Support her.. You are undermining her plight here. Please stop.
@thezoldics7648In the last century, the west has overcome a lot of societal norms regarding the patriarchy. Whereas places such as Asia, definitely have progressed much slower.
As a punjabi woman i am ashamed this happens in our community but it reminds me how fortunate i am to have a family like mine. My maternal grandfather would go around his village celebrating whenever he was gifted with a baby girl and anyone who disrespected his daughters would never be allowed to step foot in their home. He moved to Canada in the 1970s to make sure his daughters would have a good life and for that i am forever grateful.
We knew a family from the Punjab in Germany, they had one boy and two girls. It was a loving, warm family, where all children were treasured. They told us they were wealthy in India, so we did not understand why they had come Germany. My husband once asked them, and the father answered, as he had two girls, he preferred to live elsewhere, and not in India. This was ten years ago and NOW I understand why.
@@newuser738-j8c Why are you laughing? How can you have this reaction? So utterly disrespectful!! Do you think this is not real? Or do you think these are crying emojis? In that case you better change them for more appropriate ones. But unfortunately I think you placed this on purpose.
It struck me when she referred to her family dog as a person when she herself was treated like a dog her whole upbringing. That dog was kind in that moment and became more than just a dog. Kindness is our greatest trait.
I was struck in part 2, when she kept talking about how in the eyes of her family & culture that she brought shame on?!?! Just HOW UTTERLY sick & DISGUSTING that they viewed that she brought shame onto them, when they were the ones who should be SO ASHAMED of themselves!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!
I know! It took me a while to watch the second video, I just couldn't hear any more horrors in her life. I wish her all the happiness in the world, she deserves the world, it most be so hard to speak about what she went through time after time and she does it so she can help others, what a brave woman.
Hear, hear! I only hope every government body/police force/agency she speaks to truly listens to her words and commits to actually putting measures in place and finally stopping these horrific crimes! No more tiptoeing around these issues. Women and girls are worth so much more than this level of dehumanising abuse!
The more she speaks, the more amazed I am at what she survived. It makes me so angry that those horrible people did those atrocious things to her. She is a beautifully eloquent speaker; she deserves all the good this life has to offer.
Recent story of honour killing in from her ethnic background Punjab,India. A father killed his daughter with sword, stabbed her many times and tied her to back of motorcycle and dragged her dead body to show his pride and ego that he had done a honour killing because daughter has romantic relation with a man. Parents literally controls everything of a child here so it’s a blessing to be born in a place of freedom and with supportive parents.
I am very admired you Nina, you are amazing. It is ok NOT to have family like your parents, brothers, sister. You must protect yourself when it comes to deal sick people like your parents. Please run away from them as far as you can.❤❤❤
She is not only an exceptional soul, but she is incredibly intelligent and exceptionally strong. The way she managed to escape her parents home just by tacidly communicating with her dog is incredible.
When someone knows what its like to suffer pain, they will understand that inflicting something similar on another will give another person that same pain. It is a glaring but obvious realization. Those who experience nothing but love and kindness by comparison will have a harder time conceiving the consequences of their actions upon others.
I am originally from India. When my sister was born, my father celebrated by handing out sweets and inviting people for drinks. Everyone in the village called him an idiot for celebrating the birth of a girl. My father raised us right by making sure that we did not follow the idiotic ideas of passing on condolences on the birth of a girl. I have one son and one daughter. My brother has one daughter. My sister has two daughters and a son!!!! So yeah, we broke the idiotic thinking from back home!!!
My grandfather told me that upon the birth of my mother, his second child and second daughter, his co-workers gave him condolences and told him that „maybe he‘d get lucky next time“. He very happily told them he was only planning on having two kids. And this was in the sixties, white community in the middle of western Europe.
Apparently your brother in law hasn’t broken out of that cycle, if I have to guess I’d say they had 2 daughters therefore had to have that son so waited tor the third one as is the case across north India. Me myself being from Kashmir after I had my two daughters many people outside of my family tried to tell me I should wait for son before throwing in the towel. I find it utterly ridiculous that some of us are still stuck with old mentality which made sense back in the day because sons supported parents in their old age while the daughters were married off but for me I am man enough to make sure I build myself beyond the point where I am financially stable to retire and not receive handouts from my kids, if anything I’ll make sure I leave enough for my daughters retirement as well.
Jesus, this woman has BEEN THROUGH HELL. She really is a strong woman. God bless her. 6k-8k A MONTH to a lazy man that doesn't want to work? Lord, please make the rest of her life the most beautiful life one could have. ❤
BRAVEISBEAUTI, Yes, that worthless POS, was a complete parasite, he drugged and raped her, then lied to her about it, beat her regularly I mean wtf! I pray she will Never put herself in a position to be harmed again, that she alone is whole and beautiful. Nothing worse than being alone in a relationship, so much better to be on your own where you can learn to nurture and celebrate what is the wonderfulness of you!
I won woman of the year before this interview for my work with my non profit and as an activist. I appreciate your support but for you to give that support to a stranger when you come across them would truly be a gift that I would relish in. Can we replace the distance between people with love and compassion?
@@londonslifecoach Your an amazing women! Its people such as yourself that give others strength. It makes me think about some of the communities in my own country who tend to keep to themselves and you see some of these control aspects in public at times but its rare. I could see these sort of crimes being hidden especially as they have gained wealth and influence but you hope they came here for better lives, Not to bring awful "traditions" with them. (We have had an increase in these sorts of crimes sadly, NZ) Take care and Keep going! People like you helped my family when we needed it. Thank you.
@@londonslifecoach I have truly compassion for you, I genuinely sympathise. Myself, the girl I wanna marry a British Indian and she faces a lot through her life, not as bad as your story, but she feels a lot of pressure. Your story helped me to understand better now one of the things she is the most afraid of. P.S.: In Africa, we don't do honour killing, I guess that it still exists, but it's a very, very small percentage compared to most of our cultures. Especially in my country and the countries around, we don't do that. I would love tho to meet you one day if I can, I truly admire your resilience. May you spend happy times with your kids. They're the most precious present you could ever get.
🙄 it really concerns me how people can watch a woman talking about a hugely traumatic life that highlights the biggest cultural problems in society and they instantly start thinking about some stupid, vapid, meaningless award. Like you think fame is a reward for a tough life. She's talking about the real meaningful human experience of losing her beautiful child at birth and you think she wants a dumb award, given by a bunch of nobodies.
@@harrydavey9884I don’t think they genuinely mean an award. Like saying „Wow this mother deserved mother of the year award“ cus there isn’t an award for mothers. It’s just something you say. It was a compliment I believe.
Honour Killings are protected as a “cultural crime”? That is INSANE and completely unjust! The law around this needs to be looked at, addressed and changed as soon as possible. Murder is Murder. Women of different cultures shouldn’t fear being killed at the hands of their parents or partner. This is the UK and everyone should be protected and feel safe. I’m with you Nina and I’ll be doing research to help support your non-profit.
What else would you expect when countries like India boasts about its 'cultural' superiority and the modern-day western governments are all about placating them and pandering to their rather 'delicate' sensibilities? Gone are the days when the West called a spade a spade.
Brothers, uncles, grandfathers and sons also. I've watched videos, documentaries and shows with all of these criminals. Often it's all the men in the family working together. There are a number of these cases in the U.S. where the men have been given the death penalty or sentenced to life in prison. One is the case of teen sisters Amina and Sara Said, born in the U.S. to an Egyptian (immigrant) father and his American wife. The escape attempt failed. The father, Yaser Abdel Said, went on the run and avoided the police for about 12 years but he remained on the FBI Top Ten Fugitive list until his capture in 2020, the FBI was offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. He is currently in prison serving a life sentence. I have watched all the parts in a series on UA-cam and a number of documentaries also, It breaks my heart each time. As they all do. It's a travesty, a stain on humanity to allow this in any country or culture, Just evil.
@@emmef7970 I remember this case. Again, let's not forget, it is all thanks to the 'American wife' - the likes of whom, unlike their eastern counterparts, are ingrained with a better sense of justice and know better than to sweep things under the carpet - the case got the attention it deserved. Criminals from the Middle-east are infamous for doing a runner and escaping to their own countries where they know they'll be well protected, especially in cases of such nature.
"She was a girl, which meant I could break that generational curse of not celebrating a girl"..."My mom had taught me what I should not be as a mom" ...Right there, that hit hard. This woman is the true definition of STRENGHT and RESILIENCE and the fact that in part 1 she said she forgave her abusers (people who literally tried to kill her) is just further proof of that. Edit : Thank you All for the likes 😊👍
In Japanese, there's a term they use, "hanmenkyoushi (反面教師)," which essentially means the opposite of a role model. One who teaches you what *not* to do by their behaviour. Fits this family to a tee.
My goodness!!! Her father is a piece of work!!!! What a disgusting vile human being. Nina, you're an inspiration to us all. Thank you for sharing your story.
Right. I found it weird how not only was her entire family not being arrested but especially the father being on the loose? Like how is the police okay with this again? Theres not even 1 info out and neither are their pictures.
@@sakasusukThe reason is … drumroll please … MONEY. A lot of money, at the highest levels. The ‘UK’ never got out of the colonialism game, it’s just that now there are massive numbers of ‘collaborators’ who sell out their own people for wealth, status, and power. Same as it ever was; same as it ever was. World without end, indeed.
So while going through absolute hell having been brought up in an unbelievably awful environment, surviving a murder attempt and while raising children she managed to start a business that made her a millionaire and now she runs a non-profit to save others from the same situation...I think she is the most impressive person I have ever heard about.
Nina is a really strong woman. She went through all of that as a teenager and then almost murdered in her 20s to then being abused ONCE AGAIN and raped by her unemployed partner who was living off of her money and suffering a miscarriage due to that partner's abuse. And then when she was in her darkest moment, she still strived to live and then learnt her unknown sister was sold as human trafficking at such a young age?? The fact that Nina still forgave her family members for what they did to her and that she is helping people get out of abusive situations, tells me all I need to know about her. Nina is an incredible human being and she survived the worst and she deserves so much more recognition
@@mtnewt1she got pregnant during the time she was being raped by her father and his friends but her parents took her to get an abortion. She had 4 children from her abusive partner and 1 died after he pushed her down the stairs.
@@Zhana808 from what i understand, she had an abortion from the child rape, then a child from rape , and 3 more kids from her abusive partner of which the second one was stillborn.
Totally sick that people can do this to any one . Supported abuse . State, countrywide disrespect for girls. Woman. In 2024 people still practice this sort off lawlessness. So sorry Nina. She is an Angel among us.
Her mother probably doesn't sleep at night at all. That dog was something truly amazing. He demonstrated more compassion than any human in that household.
Life long abuse.. barely escaping an honor killing attempt, getting abused and assaulted again.. and she still worked so hard, started multiple businesses and became a millionaire??? Wow. My jaw dropped when i heard this. You are truly incredible, Nina. You are the strongest woman i have ever heard of, and you have all my respect. I wish you and your children all the best!
@jadapalmer4356 It does matter. But of course you wouldn't know it seeing that you are so full of yourself, or ,'your self-worth', as you put it. To those it matters, Money has never known to speak The Truth, it has always only served its own interest at the cost of compromising The Absolute, Infallible & Irrefutable Truth - who is also not without reasons symbolically known as 'The Man of Sorrows'.
Failed unempathetic healthcare system, failed police authorities/justice system, failed school system, failed parenthood, failed partner--this women has been through A LOT. I commend her for her resilience. As a victim of SA and child abuse, I know how difficult it is to establish ur identity and gain freedom. Society needs to do better for little girls and women. #endfemicide #honorkilingsaremurder
@thezoldics7648 The world would be an amazing place with less people like you. I can't even believe that there is someone sick enough to basically victim blame the woman even after everything she went through. You must have a very sad and miserable life to be drowning in so much hate.
She was hinting at the fact that the govt officials (in the uk, the healthcare system and police are both) didn’t want to get involved because of her еthniсitу/сulturе for fear of роlitiсаl bасklаsh. Unfortunately, this still holds true today. So, this “fеmсidе” as you call it? Not ending anytime soon. Especially with the amount of migrаnts we have that refuse to intеgrаtе
How on EARTH is it taboo to have a child out of wedlock when raping someone, let alone your own daughter, isn't taboo???! I truly don't understand this mentality! I'm so angry for her and every woman who has had to live through the same thing in their own family.
You must understand that anything a woman does in such culture is perceived as taboo, doesn’t matter what it is, because in their eyes she shouldn’t even exist
Although having a child out of wedlock is considered taboo in many cultures, what Nina's father did to her is not some negative aspect of the culture. It's his own depravity that would be considered depraved even in India.
She has never experienced any form of true love from her biological family nor the father of her children yet has so much love inside of her. Wish her all the love in this world!
Nina is the type of person that deserves a Nobel Prize, for all she's endured and still fights for others. If you're reading this Nina, I never met you but after hearing your story, you're an inspiration that I will never forget, thank you for sharing and for the work you do.
@thezoldics7648 bro do you even know the fucked up part in Haryana right now lol, there aren't enough females for men the ratio is fucked up. If it wasn't a big issue then there wouldn't be a govt. slogan of "Beti Bachao Beti parhao" (save daughters, educate daughters). Stop whataboutery lol
@thezoldics7648don't justify ,she isn't representing anyone ,she is just telling her story .. btw some people felt proud to control their woman ,girls and female
Even after she escaped the brutal abuse of her parents and family, she still ended up suffering domestic abuse. This woman's life story is just so heartbreaking.
It is because most abused people don't know how a healthy relationship looks like or feel like. That's why they usually get caught with different people but the same cycle. I hope everyone who is in an abusive relationship can break free.
Unfortunately, this happens a lot with people who were victims of domestic abuse by their families. They never learned what a healthy relationship looks like. I hope she is (she probably is) getting therapy and learning what a healthy partner and relationship looks like. I just want her to have an amazing life now. No more sadness and pain. Her story broke my heart and there were some points where I had to pause and walk away because it was too much for me to handle.
Who and where are her parents? Her inlaws? Her brother? Her family? Everyone that abused her? If the law can't or won't put them behind bars, let the internet and the people bring justice into their own hands. This woman has been through hell and is still being harassed and haunted by those evil people. So let fire handle fire. Reveal them! This makes me so angry I just want them to experience all she suffered and MORE!
Met police were quick to jump on the Russel Brand bandwagon but can’t seem to be bothered by the atrocities this lady went through. Disgusting justice system!
@@melonmelon7427women don't matter and they don't care about the Brand stuff they are just claiming to care. I'm at 38 year old white man, born and raised in poverty and foster care mostly, in eastern Kentucky. I was tortured, beaten, starved, drugged and raped. All more times than I could count. Both in and out of foster care. It left me broken by the time I even could spell the word broken. I've been in mental health treatment since I was first placed into foster care, around the age of 4 1/2 - 5 years old. Watching the first part of her story, I could relate on so many levels. I was speechless clicking on this video to watch afterwards and finding out it's her all over again. It's almost like my life in a way, because even after I turned an adult, I too, ended up in horrible relationships with horrible women, or even good women that I, myself couldn't love, because I didn't love myself. Ended up in Prison, where the same traumas that I went through as a kid, ended up being done to me again, by both inmates and guards alike. Kentucky has both a broken and savage foster care system as well as jail/prison system. It amazed me while I was inside, and even amazes me now, how they get away with it. It's mind blowing how they break every human rights law in the world, and can still operate without being held accountable, while you sit in there, under their supervision, watching them do it, being held accountable for what you did. I got out after 10 years, completely served out my sentence, no parole, on a non-violent, non-sexual offense of burglary and theft. I dreamed of getting out, only to basically go into shock when I did. I went to stay with a penpal in Seattle, WA, to leave Kentucky asap. Only to find out he'd been lying to get me to WA, and so I left his place. Now I'm still in WA, and haven't had a single run in with the law or abusers since. Instead, I'm bed or chair bound, with a messed up back and mind, on welfare, fighting to try and get my disability. Meanwhile, everyone acknowledges that I have all these mental and physical problems, but my welfare insurance won't pay for the only medicine that gives me peace. So living off ramen noodles and mac n cheese, I live through the internet, dreaming while I live through others lives. Wishing I had gotten a chance to have a life anything remotely close to normal or being valued as a person, wishing someone would find me, help me with medicine, or just come visit me. Only good thing in my life, are my cat, dog, and fiance that I met shortly after getting to Seattle. She's so amazing, and I wouldn't be able to type out my story, if it weren't for her and her love and support through all my struggles and flaws. She helps as best she can, but like this young woman's story, sometimes you just have to wonder. When or if at all, does the suffering stop? When do I meet one of these kind souls I see all over the internet helping people, or being nice to people? Because I've only met my fiance, and that's it. 38 years of living, and only one person that noticed me and decided I was worth having around. I hope this woman was able to find the peace I crave so badly today. It's a process, and a very long process. Maybe in the next life, I'll be reborn into a normal life or something close to it haha. Thanks for reading, whoever did. EDIT: I tried to reach out to her through instagram around the time I first posted this comment. Hoping to god, that she might be able to help me get the medicine I need. I just wanna heal my mind and spirit, and start helping others. I can't help people in need, if I can't afford to help myself. Ketamine works amazing for PTSD and Treatment Resistant Depression and Anxiety. Sadly, it's also very costly and my savings are drained out and gone now, because of it. It's really difficult to feel a one year break in your PTSD and Depression, after 30+ years of torment mentally, only to have to return to the mental hell, because a cheap drug to make is heavily priced by big pharma. I tried to start a GoFundMe to no avail. Here is the link to the GoFundMe if you're at all interested in helping or even just sharing it, to get it some attention and traffic: gofund.me/8ba0b134

Ikr that’s the true form of good masculinity. Using your power and strength to stand up for those weaker than you (and ofc women can do this too, but we live in an age of toxic masculinity toxic femininity and whatnot)
Dear Nina, you may never see this, but please know that you are a beautiful person. I wish I could give you a hug and tell you in person that I love you. Thank you for sharing your story with the world. Your bravery, kindness, wisdom, and strength will shine through the ages, and has touched my heart though we have never met and are thousands of miles apart.
Dear God has his arms around you my love. Raising yourself under such horrific circumstances has made you a sweet, wonderful, intelligent human being. Your entire family is below your shoe dirt. They are evil and will eventually pay for their Beliefs.❤❤
When she said "I was at that time a millionaire" after she detailed how she wanted both her children to only know love and that she wanted to break her generational curse, that's when I realized "this woman has everything to make it out, she has the mindset, the means, and the strength, all she needed at the time was to believe in herself." It's really heartwarming to see that, despite all the horrors one could face, they could be this resilient and persevering, learn who they are as a person, realize what their true worth is, and go on to become such a beautiful human being. I truly hope nothing remotely negative ever happens to this woman again in her life.
Yes... I was thinking she needs to make strategic decisions in her life not emotional ones, understandably so because of all the trauma she has gone through. But now and has done so, must break the barrier and change her life... I think she has finally done this... This story completely boggles my mind as a south African, that this type of behaviour is tolerated in civilised UK, what the hell has happened over there to their values. I thought SA was all messed up. It's a disgraceful story.
Imagine being this intelligent, successful, and driven despite this harrowing story of pain and trauma. I’m confident this story is not over. This woman will achieve so much more! May her abusers forever regret and suffer for these vicious actions.
These two videos have been insanely distressing to watch as an indian girl. I am so thankful she got to speak out about her life and can be heard without being dismissed. Thanks Ladbible for that, you're doing a lot for the lesser heard. And to dear sweet Nina, I can't begin to imagine the horrors you've been through. It's as if life keeps pushing you onto the floor, but you still manage to get up and fight, many times at that. I cannot imagine surviving any single part of this. You are a fighter. and from one indian girl to another, I love you loads, and you are now one of my biggest inspirations to start fighting this society. i hope everyday for the rest of your life you are happy, safe and receiving all sorts of love and appreciation that you have deserved all your life and more. i hope one day you can step out of your house without fear, that one day you can walk around the whole country with all your children. They can very easily reconcile their behaviour with the Religion. They see it through the prism of Sikhism parental allegiance no matter what and tradition with which they are brainwashed. Happens even today in Muslim Sikh African and all Asians in the U.K. That's why they choose to live in areas where their communities dominate
I have seen people use religion , culture , race to commit crimes and somehow justify them in a twisted way. Human nature has an element of evil that shows up in different ways.
“I love everything that nobody ever loved about me” This is peak post traumatic growth. I am so incredibly happy for her that she’s come to a place where she loves herself for exactly who she is ❤️
Nina's story illustrates how profoundly children are scarred psychologically from abuse and neglect. Even as an exceptionally successful business owner, she still didn't have enough self-worth to leave an abusive man.
You can compare abuse simply because some things are worse than others. Not to mention everyone is different and unique. I have trauma too. You don't have to discredit your trauma! ❤ no matter what you went thru, your trauma is valid, also on any level abuse is abuse. I wish you well.
She is such a strong woman. She really has gone through hell and back and I am so glad she is safe and is in a better place now. She is such a brave woman for being able to relive all of that trauma to tell us her story and I applaud her for that.
You would NEVER imagine that this would be happening in the UK … attempted murder. Domestic abuse… and no one is in jail ? This is insane. This woman is strong ! What a survivor
“I loved everything about me that no one ever love me for”- gosh I am in pieces. All we want is to be loved. Is that too much to ask for. I love you Nina. You are my hero
My colleague told me how she and her husband rejoiced for a healthy baby daughter and how she witnessed another young Pakistani woman's heart break over having a girl. Her husband and family despised her because of not giving them a boy. It was in London. A very sad situation.
The scary thing is so many women and girls are very much like her, but didn't escape or survive the murders. The conditioning she went through since birth made it to where when she was in safe hands in the justice system she just didn't tell them "hey, I'm a survivor of attempted murder, and by the way all these other crimes too! These are the culprits!" I never went through this and something kept saying"and now is when you could seek justice!" but she didn't, and I realized it's because she didn't think of it this way or she didn't feel like she was worth the trouble. I wish I could hug her. These interviews broke my heart and oddly healed it back up a little seeing what a resilient woman she is and how she's doing work to help others.
I’m here crying my eyes out. How is something like this still existing in our modern western world. She must be one of the strongest women alive to speak about all the atrocities that happened to her. I respect her like no one.
@@TurbopannerI’m afraid you are right. That is why women like her should keep speaking out once in a save place. The thing is that we (the West) went passed these strange religious rituals. I have never commented on any UA-cam video but Nina’s story touched me so much. I can’t believe how she found the strength to keep going and I have nothing but praise and love for this woman. Onto an important question, how is it that nothing has happened to the parents yet? Can’t they be booked for any of the crimes? It is unfair that they haven’t been subjected to any legal or criminal charges for their horrifying actions
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and that goes for everyone who has done that but more so that you never engage in conversation or to leave a message which shows how much compassion you hold for another human suffering, and that gives me hope inhumanity itself

I’m a true crime lover. I listen to it to go to sleep. This woman’s story is so horrific I can’t stop crying. I didn’t realize her story continues in this way. I have never wanted to reach through the computer and hug a grown woman like this. The part where she lost her baby almost took me out.
Nina, i want to talk to you: you are not stupid, you are not ugly, you are not fat...but you are an Angel, a beautiful, sweet angel and your voice is like a spiritual music...i live in Italy (sorry for my bad English...) but I would consider myself very honored and lucky to be your friend. I would like to be that friend who offers you a sandwich with jam, that friend who hugs you when you are sad and who holds your hand in difficult moments. I'm so sad for all your pains. These things shouldn't happen to anyone and especially by our parents. I no longer have them, in two years they both died and after lives spent in illness and suffering and I miss them very much. But I had two wonderful parents and I almost feel guilty for my pain after hearing your terrible story. I hope that today your life is more peaceful and that the love of your children can repay you, at least in part, for all the harm you have suffered. I don't have children, unfortunately, but I think they are a source of great and true love... I hope my words reach you and can give you some comfort. Your sweet and graceful way of talking about yourself touched me deeply and I want to tell you that I respect you infinitely and that you would be my best friend. Great and sweet Nina with a persuasive voice, I wish you all the best and thank you for the strength and courage you instill in those who listen to you. If there is a Paradise and I believe so, the place for you is guaranteed and I hope you find one of your own here, on Earth too. That terrible day of your attempted murder you didn't die because you had a job to do: help other people like you. This is the reason for your coming to Earth, you: high-ranking soul. I send you a strong hug, the kind you give to children and the kind you didn't have. Thank you, your sweetness and your resilience are proof of the existence of God. 🤗🤗🤗💖🌹🌈🙏🙏🙏✨🩷
I never cry during movies or during serious life events but her story made me cry several times. I hope you will have a life full of love after these horrors.

I have been anxiously awaiting part 2 of Nina's story... God bless this woman. What an unimaginable amount of resilience! Thank you Nina. The ability you have to share your experiences in such a raw form is truly heartbreaking, yet - deeply captivating. Please, continue using that beautiful voice to inform the world of what happens in plain sight. Sending love from Canada!
Sounds CIA planty! I honestly think that her adult story is sketchy! Yasmin Mohammed of Canada tells a story that is detailed and difficult to question!
I'm in the U.S.A., and I'm astonished that this is allowed to go on in the U.K.. I was in an abusive home as a youngster until I was sent to my grandparents in another state, and Grandma treated me like gold. I'm so sorry you suffered to such a degree. Thank you for your hard work on behalf of other sufferers, and for the work you do to change the dynamic of abuse. Abusers must be held accountable - commensurate with their crimes.
This woman is too good for our world. I sincerely hope she comes to realize that the world is hers, not just for other people, but also hers. She deserves to be happy and to dance as much as she wants, she didnt deserve anything those disgusting people did to her. I wish I was her age and would've known her when she was younger... this tugs at my heart.
Yes these sick cultures are disgusting. My son friend in his early thirties married a Sikh girl whose parents are from the Punjab and none of her four siblings and parents went to the wedding. They have now reconciled after several years. Another so's friend married a Cambridge Muslim girl from Midlands, only one sister attended the wedding no parents or four of her siblings either. Have plenty of experience as am Indian born and educated but deliberately chose to live in the U.K. Have challenged my grandmother in the seventies in India and it baffles me that Asians and Africans still never challenge their parents on religious and traditional issues. Like young girls aged five wearing the headscarf. Nina saw how different her school pupils were so sounds harsh but there are too many of these stories and it is time for them to challenge their parents.
@@agnescraig2912I think it’s pretty clear what can often happen if they challenge their family, this lady’s story shows that even though she was pregnant because her dad raped her, she became a problem that needed to be silenced
I am totally appalled by the huge amount of violence that Nina faced in her lifetime. I cried as I listened to her story. It is rmarkabl that she has established a non-profit to help people who are suffering as she did. God bless you, Nina. You are a God-sent person, helping others.
She said she fell into a bout of depression and my heart almost couldn't take it: if she only JUST hit a level of depression that she could actually recognize as such, she is a person of such BIBLICAL LEVEL STRENGTH and DETERMINATION that it's almost unfathomable ...
My mom said the exact same thing about how her parents taught her how to not be a parent and how she said as a teenager she would never make her kids go through what she had to endure. My mom, even though she went through severe mental abuse, debilitating beatings, being abandoned each weekend to survive on her own in the canyons of Nevada so her parents didn't have to feed her, and molested by her step father and half brother, she turned into the kindest, hardest working, most selfless person I have ever known to this day. I really admire people like this women who can go though so much torture in life, yet still be a gentle soul, god bless her.
I was hoping to hear about the sister and if they found her or not. What an unbelievably sad, sad story. What an unbelievable strong and courageous woman you are Nina. I'm glad you found your voice and pride in yourself as a woman. Your story touched me deeply. You are very articulate and well spoken and you are making a difference in this very cruel world. May God bless the rest of your days.
@@londonslifecoach I want to say Thankyou for sharing your life with us. I’m so sorry you have endured the awful situations you’ve told us about. One thing that resonated with me was that after your attempted murder and was in hospital, you said the nurses showed no empathy. I’m a Midwife and I felt so angry about this. I try to treat all the women I care for as my sister or how I’d expect to be treated. I’m so sorry you delivered your son that passed on your own, and hope the midwives supported you. I’ve watched the previous video about her story… I just, couldn’t believe her own family did those things to her. And aren’t in jail!?? And they still continued to send her death threats, like- Please tell me they were finally arrested … She’s a super woman, really. You have to have some kind of super strength; almost supernatural even, to get through that kind of trauma and abuse. 😢❤️sending love and virtual hugs to you 🫶🏾
They won't be arrested because of political correctness. Nina even mentions how nobody wants to touch these murders because they're called "honor killings" as part of culture.
@@kristymakeshift6260 idk, arrested by the police? Law enforcement? Lol who else. But it’s apparent now that they considered their attempted murder as “cultural”.

@@atarabat-yah2437this all took place in the UK. Indian culture yes but on UK turf. The fault is with UK governing bodies for not finally doing something about these horrendous crimes of which their have been far too many.
This woman's story has genuinely kept me up at night. Her power and strength cannot be compared. She gives me faith and strength that I can survive the abuse I've endured. She reminds me that no matter how cruel the world has been to you, that choosing kindness will always prevail
It cannot be understated how much this woman has transformed. From a person who thoroughly believes she is nothing to someone who loves themselves and chooses to fight for justice. She is my hero ❤
Jesus Christ this woman's life is... terrible. The men in her life are horrible. Her parents are horrible. What kind of mother would just let her daughter be abused like that? What kind of father rapes his own daughter? She's so strong, and I hope that the rest of her life is lived in contentment and safety. She deserves it.
Very hard to stomach. Blood-curling. And that this woman kept her loving , human, forgiving innocence.. beyond believe. What a power, what an angel. I love her.
Nina is the definition of a strong woman! She could've lost herself in alcohol, drugs, depression or worse - who could've blamed her?! But instead she took her trauma and pain and devoted her life to helping others. How incredible is that! I've learnt so much in these two videos although they were very difficult to watch. I'm glad to have been made aware of the brutality of honor killings and I hope society will wake up to it.
This is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard of. God bless this woman. She is a pillar of grace and strength. I wish her and and her children all of the happiness and peace in the world
Her story has touched my soul. How this woman has endured trauma after trauma after torture and then more trauma and not only survived, but thrive and able to be positive and smile?!?!?! ……..I have no words. I’m gobsmacked.
Her mother and the women of that cultural practice are pathetic. It’s bad enough the males do it, but how could you as a woman do that upon another woman, and your daughter?
i think the same thing. i always hated my Dad, but then i got older, and recognized that my mom was at fault. She had 3 previous children with my horribly abusive alcoholic father, why would she bring me into the world too? Women need to stop having children to give their lives purpose. if you cant afford a child, if youre not in a stable place economically, women...you are sentencing your innocent baby to life. And thats not fair
@@Augfordpdoggieits worth recognising that many women do not have the option of birth control. Blaming them for their inability to access safe birth control is just another form of sexism.
Yeah. It is crazy. As a Pakistani, people just believe that the culture is right and they blindly follow it (not to this degree of killings of forced marriages). I don't know how people could do stuff like this to their own children.
This women needs protecting at all cost. How any person can go through that much trauma and to turn out to be the person she is now is remarkable to be honest. She is so beautiful!
20:56 The way she has refused to let her past to prevent her from carrying herself with pride and dignity is beyond amazing. I could not be able to harness even a quarter of the willpower she has demonstrated.
What a horrible story. I feel so sorry for this lady. You would never guess by looking at her that she went thought all that she did. She's very pretty, looks so professional, very articulate and appears to have her act together. It amazes me how she has survived. Wish I could give her a hug and let her know not everybody is an evil monster. Nina if you are reading this, please know that your are a beautiful person and never deserved all the horrible things that have happened in your life.
For someone who was deprived of speaking when she was younger, she is extremely well spoken considering the trauma she went. I’m Asian and I’ve seen similar things that Nina has gone through and it angers me to no extent, and the sad reality, it’s never going to end with these backwards people in the Asian community, only thing the victims can do is make themselves better, smarter, stronger, and achieve great success that what the abusers are never capable of, and that is how you win against them, by being better than them. I support and wish Nina all the best in the world.
Am Indian born and educated but always challenged my grandmother in the seventies. Sorry to sound harsh but children must stop following traditions and religion at any cost. No one else but the children when they are adults challenge why their brothers are treated differently. Like little girls wearing hijab without restrictions on their brothers. Know the British white culture is looked down upon as being wild and disrespectful to parents and lack of spiritual or religious practices providing a moral compass to live life. But these are threats and tactics to maintain control and power is definitely a factor. I
@skyepalmer5719 The more close-knit, high walled and community-based an existence, the more therein the realities of mindless oppression, abuse and control. And this is true of the so-called Indian cultures, the Islamist world, the Catholic & Buddhist monasteries and the cults & commutes that mushroom all across the world. They are the worst kinds of hypocrites. The real 'wolves in sheep's clothing'. Don't be charmed by their outward appearances.

@thezoldics7648 No. Patriarchy is definitely not worse in the west than in india. And it has everything to do with culture!!! Honor killings, acid attacks etc. are so common in india, why do you think that is? CULTURE

@Ramneekfj 👍🏾💜
You are very fortunate with such family .

It struck me when she referred to her family dog as a person when she herself was treated like a dog her whole upbringing. That dog was kind in that moment and became more than just a dog. Kindness is our greatest trait.
Animals are never 'just animals'.
I was struck also how her dog gave her love and kindness!!! Its one of the beautiful stories about a pet!!!
People can be less then " dogs " it's the soul and how beautiful it is
She was treated worse than a dog. Dogs receive food, affection, kind words, gentle touch, and you look them in the eyes.

How on earth is an honor killing ever considered anything BUT murder in the modern world? That’s horrifying!
The story is just beyond insane. Compounded by the fact that she lives in England, and nothing is being done. Simply beyond comprehension
Lots of people don't live in the modern world. Many people still have the same beliefs as their ancestors 1,000 years ago.
You can thank religious dogma.

Yes that in its self is an absolute miracle.
It is like she mentioned. It was her purpose and she made it with flying colors. ❤
What I don't understand is where do these female-hating people think children come from? If everyone has boys, they will literally die out.
It takes just one person to create a new pattern.
Bless your Father!

As a serving British soldier, I shed a tear for this poor lady. It made me think of my own mum. What were the police and the hospitals doing?
Protected as a crime against women. If this happened to boys, forget it. It would NEVER be tolerated.
I know in the US men have been prosecuted for honor killings.

@jadapalmer4356 It does matter. But of course you wouldn't know it seeing that you are so full of yourself, or ,'your self-worth', as you put it.
Because the female is always in the wrong in some cultures... they even get put into jail if they are raped.
Yes, I know. I'll just never understand why this is their mindset.@@SoleilMagica
@@SoleilMagica honestly, I wish these cultures would get their wish and only had boys. They would die out in a generation.

@@londonslifecoachnina i love you so much even if i've never met you. i hope you found peace and love

Thanks Ladbible for that, you're doing a lot for the lesser heard. And to dear sweet Nina, I can't begin to imagine the horrors you've been through. I'm shocked this is happening in the UK. Nina, no one is you and that is your superpower. Bless you.

Do you know if your sister is alive?

After a life time of misery, Nina doesn't need any more blessings from "God".
Dearest Nina, thank you for who you are.
I’ve watched the previous video about her story… I just, couldn’t believe her own family did those things to her. And aren’t in jail!?? And they still continued to send her death threats, like- Please tell me they were finally arrested …
She’s a super woman, really. You have to have some kind of super strength; almost supernatural even, to get through that kind of trauma and abuse. 😢❤️sending love and virtual hugs to you 🫶🏾
Yeah and considering the abuse happened in UK, its so bizzare
They won't be arrested because of political correctness. Nina even mentions how nobody wants to touch these murders because they're called "honor killings" as part of culture.
@@kristymakeshift6260 idk, arrested by the police? Law enforcement? Lol who else. But it’s apparent now that they considered their attempted murder as “cultural”.
@@someonefromsomewhere6650 It really is !!
@@melstrr564neither of you live in the UK clearly, trust me there is no justice here!!
She deserves every kind of award that we could give, and given a platform to help us make the societal changes needed to prevent these things from happening to anyone else!
“Cutting myself open so that other people can heal” 😩😩😩😩 I felt that so deeply. Sending so much love to this beautiful soul. ❤
love this kind hearted lady who went through so much in her life...its unbelievable.
I cannot believe honour killing is not seen as murder in this "civilised" country. Smh
who called india civilized ? 😂 it’s the opposite
@@Alexandra-ng1ih Exactly my point. India is supposed to be a "developing" country. Yet it's laws have crept into "civilised society".
@@atarabat-yah2437this all took place in the UK. Indian culture yes but on UK turf. The fault is with UK governing bodies for not finally doing something about these horrendous crimes of which their have been far too many.

They say, “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” This young Lady is a true testament to that!

This woman's story has genuinely kept me up at night. Her power and strength cannot be compared. She gives me faith and strength that I can survive the abuse I've endured. She reminds me that no matter how cruel the world has been to you, that choosing kindness will always prevail

Her family is absolutely despicable. Praise God that she has survived.
It cannot be understated how much this woman has transformed. From a person who thoroughly believes she is nothing to someone who loves themselves and chooses to fight for justice. She is my hero ❤
Some cultures are sub human and some humans are diabolic. This girl is a super human. So glad you made it!!!
She deserves literally every award there has ever been oh my god what a human being its actually amazing
Her life and her little girls lives are at risk, yet she still spoke out. What a hero. Amen to her. I hope she heals and finds peace in her life ❤
Very hard to stomach.
This is the most heartbreaking story I have ever heard.
Crappy people are seduced by crappy cultures.
The mothers are as u said pathetic, that's why they don't do anything and it most cases they agree with the arranged marages and honor killings.
i think the same thing. i always hated my Dad, but then i got older, and recognized that my mom was at fault.
Is this abuse still going on in the Asian community?
@skyepalmer5719 The more close-knit, high walled and community-based an existence, the more therein the realities of mindless oppression, abuse and control. And this is true of the so-called Indian cultures, the Islamist world, the Catholic & Buddhist monasteries and the cults & commutes that mushroom all across the world. They are the worst kinds of hypocrites. The real 'wolves in sheep's clothing'. Don't be charmed by their outward appearances.
