Not sure if anyone would even still be logged into the gg melee account but I thought of this page after seeing HMW on stream at riptide and started reminiscing. I loved the all the content here, too bad it didn’t work out
Chem probably doesn't remember me but whenever he was online for anthers ladder I used to challenge him even though he was significantly better than me. He taught me a lot back then. I was just a little bronze shitter and he still took the time to play with me. Thanks for being an awesome person. ~Tonedawg (marth/link)
The biggest problem from this podcast is the lack of interesting questions. A discussion with the interesting topics with the guest would much more enjoyable then having callers call in and interupt the flow of the discussion
Yeah I really hope some of the OGs can put together another competitive melee podcast/show soon. I feel like this carried on the spirit of what scar and Toph started. We need another show with respected vets to keep the scene lively. Toph, scar, hugs, armada, and pp are all not making content regularly if at all anymore. It’s kinda sad. I feel like even a podcast that happens once every three months would be a big deal for the fans. I just don’t want that legacy of the current melee scene to be lost in the future, and it’s important to have some place for fans to stay tapped in with the scene and with their favorite personalities.
CV: For me it was going to my first local. I'm a slippi kid and played for a few months before going to my first local, I went in thinking I could perform pretty well and immediately went 0-2. I remember specifically wanting to beat the players that I lost to. I was hooked that day and have been constantly trying to improve since.
cool cv. I actually haven't had that moment. I just keep playing intuitively with no combo game or tech skill. I do want to get better, but I've never considered labbing or watching guides. I think all I'd need is a training partner or a rival of some kind to make that leap.
im very nervous gg melee is dead bcuz of the recent news involving gg leaving the lcs, hope nothing has happened but if something did and gg melee stops wish everyone on the team both behind and on the scenes well ❤
I miss this show. Still remember a lot of good call-ins and stories told. Thanks again to GG for everything

Chem probably doesn't remember me, but that's because we've never met

Unfortunately, they are indeed dead 😅
@@Chaoticsaur yep just saw their tweet, very unfortunate and it really sucks to see
Chem keeps talking about this player called “mot$”, this is a misnomer as “mot$” no longer exists after losing the $ match to egg$$
yooo is that tamus wannabe
Goodbye gg melee, it seems league of legends killed this channel somehow 😅
