Looks great! Can't wait for it to fire up. Have a cuore with a mate that we're turboing, also the same engine only a smaller turbo, stock inlet and throttlebody. Project is now hung up a bit due to us studying and having no time but it'll get finished. In the meantime we'll swap a stock 1.3 or 1.5 for more juice.
Super sick vid as per usual. Please tell me where you got that intake mani?!? Unless I've just been a fool and missed/forgotten about it in the previous vids
@@Jakey032 I have an ej box on my ed also but using the L200 flywheel as it is heaps lighter. The clutches fit but the pressure plates are obviously different.
@@Jakey032 you wont have any issues lol. I did that combo as the l2 flywheel was soo much lighter than the ej one. Ej ans charade g202 use same clutch and pressure plate and flywheel. (L251 anyway but yours looks the same) When i got my daughters flywheel lightened in her g202 it made a heap of difference.
@@danielhowarth1687 hey yeah they are meant to be torqued properly, but ive found my impact gun doesnt exceed 100nm anyway. Just how ive always done my flywheels and i haven't had a failure yet hahaha. also intake manifold is custom made.
yeah mate. there is no manual timing adjustment on these engines. all done through ecu. Just need to check idle timing to make sure it's lined up properly

Another awesome video, good job
Thanks for the video.please can you tell me what diagnostic scanner to use for the ECU of this engine
What's the torque specs for the daihatsu sirion connecting rod

Dude use an l2 flywheel. If you use the ejde spacer beteween the flywheel and crank you will get clutch and starter engages
as it's got an ej gearbox I assume that I just use everything ej related?

ahh ok, well I've been using the ej flywheel and clutch assembly for a while now without and real issues. fingers crossed

hey mate. just curios about the camera that you're using. it's very good then.
hey mate, its just a canon sx740 hs. nothing special
@@Jakey032 that was good in 4k mate 😄. Nice videos
And i thought the bolts you did up with a uggadugga were the ones that absolutely have to be torqued to spec? Please let me know if I'm wrong 🙏
The flywheel bolts i think are the ones I'm talking about

Cam mark no timing needed ?

where can i buy a crankshaft for a ej ed engine ?
Could try to get one from Malaysia 2nd hand. Most likely have to buy a whole sirion or cuore for one here in Australia
Toooooo much silicone mate, other then that goooooood stuff
Would hate if it leaked hahaha
@@Jakey032 true but you'll have one big clean up if it needs to come apart
