- Boston Police arrested more than 100 people as they cleared out pro-Palestinian protesters and their encampment from Emerson College early Thursday. WBZ-TV's Christina Hager reports.

Heed the warnings and leave. It was announced, I believe on Wednesday afternoon, that the alley way had to be cleared according to city ordninaces. Do not claim police brutality. No sympathy from me.

One day 20+ years from now, the lucky few of this generation who remains are going to look out of the windows of their offices, sigh deeply, and think about what a waste of time all this was. I've seen it happen since the 1970's.
They were removed because of a city ordinance that bans tents and tarps on public property. This ordinance was passed to remove homeless encampments from the city. The police were just observing a city ordinance and the Mayor concurred on this.
