Dani, there is one thing I want to say about you in all seriousness. You look great! I was worried about you going to Turkey by yourself for that procedure. You are bold, confident, intelligent and beautiful. Please accept these compliments and continue to do these pageant recaps .I don’t agree at times , but they are entertaining.
Thank you so much. I feel it’s been healing well. I feel fortunate I got great recommendations and the Dr was very conservative with the changes. 💕 I’ll definitely keep making episodes
Fairly, Victoria have always wanted to represent Philippines in the international pageantry though life redirected her to New Zealand it's okay because she's a Fil-Kiwi. She also stated that it's time for her to honor her father's heritage. She's my personal favorite as almost everything is within her, subjectively. Rooting for her!! ✨🇳🇿
This is like a former Miss Texas USA runner up competing at Miss Alaska USA. She did well at MUPH so MU NZ is no problem for her to win. The hurdle she will face is that NZ has no sash factor..
@@EmoryD 3 ladies to compete in MU 2024 in Mexico were contenders in Miss Universe PHILIPPINES 2024. These ladies will now represent PHILIPPINES, Great Britain, and New Zealand.😊
Christina Chalk who also competed Miss Universe Philippines won Miss Universe Britain but in any case I’ll be cheering on them both of course after Chelsea Manalo Miss Universe Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
To be fair, Miss Universe New Zealand was held in the Dorothy Winstone Centre, which is the auditorium of the Auckland Girls Grammar School. Considering this, I think the production was decent. It helped that many people behind the organisation are part of the Filipino Community here in New Zealand, so they have really brought the Filipino's love for pageants into the production. I really hope that New Zealanders find the more positive aspects of pageants.
@@kenlau457 yeah here in NZ the pageant scene is dominated by Asian and Pacific Island communities. The Pākeha (Euro-NZers) have lost interest in pageantry in general.
With the seemingly relaxed rules of citizenship and residency, where the representative from Armenia is not even Armenian and the pageant was held outside Armenia, we are going to see more and more contestants country hop to places with less competition. Kind of like Miss USA being inundated with former Miss CA USA hopefuls, MU may be inundated with Filipinas representing other countries as the pageants in the Philippines are just too competitive,
Hi Dani x I went to the final of MUNZ as a big fan of Miss Universe in NZ. It’s true, Pageantry in not big here in our country. But VVV 😊played her cards right and this felt right for her. I hope MUNZ continues to grow. It’s the first title holder for us since 2019 with Diamond Langi being the last MUNZ. Also Deborah was a pregant contestant at the time. In terms of production. Yes… thank you for your coverages.
I also hope the representative of Australia in MUPH will also compete in MU. I really like her during muph. Also, can you do reaction videos for MGI this year? I'm really excited for CJ ❤️❤️
Kia ora and good afternoon Dani from New Zealand. I have attended the coronation/finals night of Miss Universe New Zealand on the 29th of September. I got to meet Victoria Velasquez Vincent in person which i was really stoked about it. And met her lovely 0parents and her amazing supporters. The stage and overall production to be honest was underwhelming. Also the amount of sponsors and prizes for the winner and runner ups were disappointing to say the least. Victoria Velasquez Vincent (winner) clinched most of the awards. Best in Evening gown, Best in national costume, Best in Swimsuit, People's choice, and one sponsor award called Aqua flask.
Thank you Dani for giving a comprehensive review of VVV's performance in MUNZ. I am grateful that she finally got a chance to compete in Miss Universe stage representing the country where I am living now, New Zealand. If not Chelsea, I would be happy if Victoria will advance to Top 5 of Miss Universe. I won't be even surprised if she wins the Miss Universe crown this year. I am honestly rooting for her since MUPH 2021.
You don't really miss on special event like this!🎉 I love the commentaries as usual! Great work! I am actually more excited for VVV than Chelsie, to be very honest! 😊😊😊😊😊
Hello! I’m Shae, the contestant in the white evening gown 😂 this has been so helpful to practice for an upcoming pageant - thank you for covering it and like many others, I’m so excited to see my queen V compete in Mexico xx
I see more and more of these pageant where the contestants present a national or regional costume. I think the winning costume should be the one worn at MU.
I’m the contestant you said walked off the wrong side of the stage. I didn’t. Because Victoria and I were in the centre of heights, she was the last to go off the left side and I’m the first to leave the right side :)
I hope her experience will be a factor in winning the Miss Universe 2024. I hope that she learned a lot from her mistakes when she lost the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 title.
Miss USA : State hopping Miss Universe Philippines : Country hopping But I am glad VVV will be able to compete on Miss Universe. She deserves it so much. I was rooting for her during MUPH
Imagine the Filipino people would shout. The stage and audience will be on fire. I can't wait for the Ms Universe! I know Filipino won't win, because of the management, but at least give them a placement! Right, Ms Dani?! I always astound by your observation! Very good as always :)
i think she turned it down because it was an appointment, not a pageant competition where she can join fair and square. Plus she had commitments as Miss Universe PH - Charity so it does make sense why she has to turn it down.
VVV literally had NO COMPETITION in that pageant. She was a whaleshark in a puddle. I also don't like how she claimed to be all Filipina etc etc etc in MUPh then went off to MU-NZ. MUPh-GB and MUPh-Australia at least claimed the other parts of their heritage. VVV pretended that she was all in as a Filipina and then lo and behold, she's all Kiwi now. The hypocrisy is overflowing with that one.
Hi Dani. I just want to clear some things. Vvv had it easy and went simple for the finals because this pageant was rigged for her. You may think she stood out, but the organizers who are from the Philippines used this to earn money for Victoria to go to Miss Universe. No body was happy she won from New Zealand because it felt like the NZ girls were all scammed for a show and for money. You may have also noticed that you could only find the top 5 Q+A of VVV on UA-cam and no one else’s. The reason is because some contestants were asked 2-3 leading questions on stage before the main question and this threw them off. Vvv was not given this disadvantage. This is why this was not posted on their Facebook. She also wore a different swimsuit to all the other girls even though it was meant to be the same. Notice the cut of hers at the leg.
There's 5.1m people in my country New Zealand and there aren't many attractive and talented women here. They definitely need an outsider to represent them to succeed in any of the beauty contest. I must say if she's from Philippines NZ got a winner.
Definitely are attractive women here but many are not interested in pageants- even if you are confident and passionate enough when you're working or even studying it's a huge commitment.
