    You don’t want to prune the oak leaf hydrangea after it blooms as the blooms turn a beautiful gilded rose color as the cold increases. Then, they’ll turn brown.

    Thanks for the beautiful and informative presentation, Nikki! On the weigela, does it need to be trimmed and does it grow on old wood or new growth? Thank you🤗.

      Thank you for watching! 💚 The weigela blooms on old wood, so you won't need/want to do any pruning! You can do a light trim immediately after flowering if you'd like to tidy it up a bit, but truly not necessary. 😊 One of the reasons I love it. Hehe!

    Love your channel very helpful. I have both Lemon coral sedum and Allium AND I LOVE THEM!
    Question: I am in zone 7b. I purchased 2 PW Sonic boom pink reblooming Weigelias in the 2 gallon pots. Please give me your opinion, is this a plant i can mix with At Last Roses? If so how far apart should roses be to the side or to the front? I have free space along a fence that gets sun a lot of sun. What would you do? If you would not plant togather please just tell me 😂. winter is coming and I NEED to get these plants in the ground

      I think they would be beautiful together! You'll want to have the roses in front of the weigelas. Sonic Pink will grow to be about 5 feet tall and wide and the At Last about 3 feet tall and wide. If you want them to mix a bit eventually (which I think would be pretty) I would plant the roses about 3-4 feet in front of the weigelas. :) Hope this helps!

    I tried to get Allium but it’s not showing in your list for zone 9b on your web site.

    I would love to see what the perennials look like during the dormancy period. I have a lot of evergreen plants here in Georgia. I’m sure most of the plants you showed aren’t evergreen, right?

    • @Provenwinnersdirect
      @Provenwinnersdirect  Місяць тому

      We have current greenhouse photos of all of our perennials on their product pages! As they continue into dormancy, they'll continue to drop leaves/foliage and end up being beautiful pots of soil filled with healthy, sleepy roots! 😊 You can click on any of our perennial pages and check out the 3rd image- this will show you their current conditions! Hope this helps! 💚

    So, I remember during the season, on mondays from 12-4p you could purchase as many as you like, is that different in the off season? How long are these featured plants 35% off? Only on Mondays now or..?? (Why am I suddenly so confused? 😆😆🤣).
    Also, if we order any of the plants that are featured now, are they then shipped in the spring according to zone and planting time or are they shipped now? Thank you Nikki!

      You can purchase as many POTD plants as you'd like at 35% Off on Mondays from 12pm-4pm ET. Then it goes back to 1 plant each day at 35% Off. This landing page will show you each plant and which day of the week they are 35% off (outside of Mondays 12pm-4pm): provenwinnersdirect.com/pages/potd2 We ship plants across the country, so we continue shipping live plants year round! These POTD plants all ship now. We'll have preorders in November to place orders for spring plants, but POTD discounts are only for Ships Now plants. :) Hope this helps! It certainly can be confusing!!!!! 💚

    Can we possibly get a full bloomed picture next to these plants at the nursery’s so that we can visualize exactly what these tiny looking nothing of a plants will turn into … it’s so hard to imagine from the little tags in the pots you provide 🙏🤍🪴🌳

      We have lots of full bloomed photos on each of our product pages! You'll see them at maturity in the first photo, and current conditions in the greenhouse in the 3rd photo! Hope that helps! 💚

    Beautiful plants but they don’t contribute to the ecosystem, and even worse they take away resources for wildlife. Gotta plant native plants that give back, if so much of the US (80%) is going to continue to be privately owned. We need natural ecosystems to be healthy, if we want to continue with our way of life. If you don’t know how to get started go to homegrown national park.

      Many of our plants are native! From this collection, Gatsby Moon is native to North America. 😊

      My whole yard is nearly 80% natives...hundreds of them. I don't think we should make people plant 100% natives. As long as they are gardening and learning, it's still better for the planet than just grass lawns.
