Outstanding countryside under God's heaven is the place to be! Town folks are welcome to their 'world of walls' and polluted air. The only walls in nature are made of frozen water and solid rock, some of which gets worn away by water, or breaks under pressure, to reveal mother nature's 'shiny' treasures. As country-boys my cousin and i panned for Cornish tin in our streams, we founds some decent samples too, for kids. Hunting for pay dirt was in our blood. Mining, fishing and farming are historically parts of our rich Cornish heritage..Cousin Mark went into mining engineering, for Holman/Compair, I ended up hard-rock mining, 360 fathoms under his place of work; literally! Man, I wish we two had a Fisher Gold-Bug back in the 60's. Hell, we mighta struck a lode, and been Hard-rock Tin 69'ers! It's good to dream good dreams, better still to be in-country in Alabama and live them! That toy pistol may have belonged to one of two little Alabama '69 er kids, out lookin' for gold, and working up an appetite for dinner-time, and a need for more freedom after a night's shut-eye. This video really took me back, as well as making me wonder. Thank you for that. I appreciate it. Take care my friend.
If you look in fishers website at there customer finds back in 09 a man in North Carolina found the single largest gold item in state history in over 100 years it was a nugget the size of a bird egg 5 oz I think found it with a gold bug 2 after about 40 days of searching a known gold bearing creek i think east of the Mississippi can still pay off
