57's are still the most beautiful cars Cadillac ever produced.
I like them alot, but my favorite would be a 59 or 60 convertible. Love those fins. I do love all of the electronic options on this one though. Thanks for checking it out!
I would proudly own AND drive this Car over ANY Car built today!💕
Definitely alot cooler and classier than anything out there today
This caddy is beautiful. My mother and father had this car.vthey bought Cadillac s their whole lives. But the coup was her favorite. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hard not to be at the top of her list. They look so good!
Pure class from front to back. Looks almost new. The standard of the world. Best wishes from the UK
Thanks for the kind words. Have a good one!
Beautiful car! I was most impressed by the electric antenna that works so smoothly.
Thank you! That is one of the cooler functions. My favorite is the motorized automatic trunk that pulls itself shut once almost closed. Hard to see or here it in the video, but that last inch is the car shutting itself, not me
I had an 87 Oldsmobile that didn’t work that well. In 89 !
@@davidweimer8880 it's amazing how some things get better over time but not all things. Nothing is quite the same as the cars from the 50s and 60s
I've got a 2019 Mercedes S-Class with 20,000 miles and two years of Mercedes Certification that I'd gladly swap for this Cadillac.
I don't blame you! Hard to deny this style
That will continue to depreciate, while the caddy will continue to go up in value.
@@donaldthetruthseeker-es3nu very true!
What a beautiful 1957 Caddy! The 1950’s had its bad times but had innovative times also. We own a beautiful 2008 DTS in White Diamond Tricoat. These full size Cadillacs were the end of an era too. We went on a 2100 mile vacation in June and July 2024 and were blessed with 30.68mpg with a Northstar V8. The car now has 89,000+ miles.
Thank you! Sounds like you have a nice ride! And efficient!
Beautiful 57 Caddy!! Everything works so well!!
Thank you! Yes, very neat all still in working order. I find it impressive these were options all the way back in 57
Along with the 1976-1979 Cadillac Seville Sedan.
I have a 4 door CTS-V, I aspire to a classic like this by curation or acquisition ❤
What year? Those are fun cars. You can see my CTS-V wagon in the background of this video. Such a great car. Not the same styling as this 57, but certainly has the speed
She is stunning for sure. The 58 Impala has a similar roof and glass design.
Thanks!
Chris, you have a keen eye. I noticed that too. It always looked to me that in the 1950’s Cadillac would introduce a new body style a year before the rest of the GM Divisions (Chevy, Olds, Pontiac, Buick) were allowed to mimic it. Come to think of it, for ‘54 even Buick and Olds got the sleeker, more modern style while the ‘54 Chevy and Pontiac had to go one more year with the bulbous, frumpy style.
Contrast all of that versus the late ‘70’s and ‘80’s when they all looked alike except for badges and minor differences in chrome trim!
Classier, more stylish and more comfortable that than the tin boxes they sell today!
Agreed!
Gorgeous car!!
Thank you!
WOW PERFECTO- WHAT A MAGNIFICENT VINTAGE CLASSIC CADILLAC SWEET-LOVE IT-THANKS FOR POSTING/SHARING.
Thank you for the kind words! Thanks for checking it out
STUNNING 👍 , BEAUTIFUL 👍 ,
Thank you!
Could've bought one exactly like that when I was a kid back in '71 off of a mechanic for a grand. It was a real beauty. A Sunday driver in his dirt floor garage. I didn't have the cash.
That's too bad, would've been an awesome cruiser. That was alot of money back then though, especially for a kid
@@callawayclassics yes exactly. But I remember that Caddy to this day. Somebody did buy it but I don't remember seeing it anywhere locally.
@@anthonyangeli256funny how cars leave lasting impressions like that. Guess that's one of the reasons we love them!
@@callawayclassics gotta lovem!
I had a four door 57 in 67. It was pink with a white top. Stationed in Oklahoma at the time. It was so mint, plastic on seats! I loved that car with its ice cold a/c. I believe I paid about $800 bucks at a dealer for it. Omg
My brother and I had a '57 Caddy Coupe in '67, but we paid $350. It was lowered price Caddy. No power windows, tinted glass,.or power seats.
It was a great car. My brother was 6'4" tall, but if he put the front seat all the way back, he couldn't touch the pedals.
You don't see the plastic seat covers anymore! People forget about this. Pink and white, what a color combo!
@@jamesmooney8933 wow that's alot of leg room!
@@callawayclassics It was a big car. It road like a dream. It had a 4 speed hydromatic 300 hp. and was fast for the day.
What a beauty❤
Thanks!
رائعة بكل المقاييس ❤❤
That thing is sexy right there!!! Brings tears to the eyes. Hold on to this beauty and keep her safe!!!!
Thank you! She's a nice one!
What a beauty
Thanks!
@@callawayclassics your welcome
Nice ride.🙂🇺🇸 5:18
Thanks!
@@callawayclassics You're welcome..
Gorgeous mid century caddy.
Thank you! Wish they still had lines like these today
Grew up w/ Cadillacs, & Lincoln’s! But partials to Buicks 😳🥰😬
Buicks are great too. I'd love to have a 59 Buick
How is it that that almost 75 year old car rides better than most new cars.
They don't make them like they used to
Definitely a beauty!
Thanks!
Looks nice
Thanks!
That rear window !!
It's fast!
Are the gold accents standard or are they a dealer ad on option?
That's a great question. I'm not that well versed in this generation Cadillac so I can't say for sure. I would guess it was standard on the Coupe de Ville since most I have seen have the gold accents. Maybe the standard Series 62 did not have them and then when you got the Coupe de Ville option that is when you got the gold? Maybe a Cadillac expert will chime in here. I do know they look good though, really pop on the car
At 43,000.00 I'd need to see the undercarriage/frame ect. I's 12,000.00 less than my 2023 MB cost me and looks far better. Outside of the 1963 and 1964 Cadillac Convertibles (I owned a 1963 convertible with fact. AC) the 1957's were the best designed. In 1958 they lowered the dagmars and made them smaller, big mistake I always thought.
Plan to get undercarriage photos uploaded to our website next week. We only have one lift and I have another car (1968 Mustang 390 convertible) on there now getting some work. That 64 convertible with factory AC was a rare one!
how many people fit into the trunk? we want to sneak into the drive-in and watch some movies.
haha you can sneak in quite a few with this land yacht. That trunk goes on forever!
When you put up a video put up a price.
I don't like putting up the price because I have to go back and edit the video once the car sells. The price is always listed on our website (linked in the video description) when the car is for sale. This car has already been sold but was listed at 43k. Thanks for the feedback!
Body Color ?
Irmine White ? 0 r Other ?
It was a color change from blue to white. You can see a picture of the trim tag on our website. I think it looks better in white

Lol! I'd be a nervous wreck with a car like that! Always afraid some feature on it would stop working, and how easy would that be to get repaired now!?!? Then I'd be worried about parking it near anyone for fear of them disrespecting it, and banging their door into the side of it! Maybe on purpose! Lol. I think I am better off with my ugly modern day car. Then if I put a ding in it, I wouldn't be as sick! Beautiful machine though!
Haha yes, other drivers/parking lots are always a concern of mine. One of the few guarantees in life - if you park your classic car by itself in the back of the parking lot, there will be someone parked right next to you when you return from the store. That's why I really like original paint survivor cars, they already have a ding or two on them so you don't cry when that ding happens. Thanks for checking it out!
Dolly Parton front bumper !!
lol I love that! Great comparison
They are actually called Dagmars, after an actress who used to appear on the Jack Parr Tonight show. Her two resemblances to Dolly are, uh, "outstanding".
You are correct Eddie
@@eddiegardner8232 very nice fun fact and well put haha
There ain't no coupe de ville hidin at the bottom of a crackerjack box....Meatloaf
Haha nice reference
Wrong tires
Thanks
