It was mentioned that they are "much more affordable" but unless I missed it, there was nothing (ha!) said about their proposed pricing. A quick jump over to the nothing web shop shows a $149.00 US price with a release date of Oct 1, 2024.
I have been seeing more people (not for exercise) wearing open-style earbuds. I'm glad Nothing made their design similar to Soundcore's Aerofit series; it's a shame they did not follow Soundcore's case design. Other than that I do wonder about a comparison between the Nothing Ear (Open) and the Soundcore Aerofit and Aerofit Pro. The Aerofit Pro, when on sale, goes for around $130 (last time I checked) so it is a compelling offer; especially with the November Black Friday sales coming up.
Depending on your style of glasses, the temple piece will most likely rest between your head and the hook-shaped part of the earbud. I had no issues wearing or removing my sunglasses while using these earbuds, but if your glasses have thicker temples, you may have to make minor fit adjustments after putting your glasses on. I hope this helps! Happy listening! - Dave
Purchased a pair of these, based off of this review. The sound quality is very good. Unfortunately, due to the design and possibly the shape of my ears; they are NOT very loud. I listened to them at max volume, and I wish it could have been louder. This was in a very quiet room with almost no ambient noise. I had purchased them for use at my job where the ambient noise level is high. They will be going back to Amazon .
so are the batteries user replaceable? having the battery exist on the tip of the silicone hook like that makes them look like they'll screw off which excites me somewhat? otherwise they're a bit of a non-starter for me
I hope so, too. Like, perhaps in a twist-rotateable fashion... I've seen lots of even expensive wireless earbuds die out or least preferred to use just because of its heavily shortened battery life in more or less just a year.
I just got these for XMAS, and I also own the EAR nothing buds. DO NOT EXPECT the IN YOUR FACE “WOW BOOM” that the buds gives you. I tested the song “No Air” by Jordin Sparks and the open were just LACKLUSTER. However, if I am in a busy city, or walking at airports where I may want to hear announcements or emergency alerts from traffic, the OPEN are a great choice. In a nutshell, for a “WOW” BASS AND SOUND factor, get the in ear nothing 2; for being alert while outside - USE THE OPEN. If your goal is to completely drown out outside noise, DO NOT USE OPEN!
I've been hearing a lot of buzz about the Nothing Ear (Open), but I’m still torn between these and the Sony LinkBuds. Both have that open-ear design, but which one do you think offers better sound quality for daily use? Also, how’s the comfort on the Nothing Ear (Open) for longer sessions? Would love to hear from those who’ve tried both!
Sony LinkBudz is a tricky open-ear design for specific ears. You may get the fit correct today but may not works so well in another day. If you are doing slow-jog is fine. If you sweat alot, it is going to fall out pretty easily. Plus the charging ports is not reliable. I am having a 2nd set due to free warrranty. The battery issues is rising again. Try to avoid this earphones. Sound quality is great to me but it's not a long-life earphones for outdoor running.
It's doable! You may have to make some minor adjustments once your glasses are on, but I had no issues wearing my sunglasses and these earbuds at the same time.
the nothing ear stick were just a budgeted down nothing ear 1 but with a stupid cylindrical case if im remembering correctly. pretty sure they were also complete garbage
Depending on the style of your glasses, the temple part will most likely rest between your head and the hook-shaped piece of the earbuds. I was able to wear my sunglasses without any significant issues or discomfort.
no one can make open end earphone like in the past. right now my old wired sony earphone sound better than any of the open style earbud both in term of loudness bass & treble and i seriously doubt this would be any good. ( tried they nothing stick return it after 3 days coz it give such a headache from the high volume i have to crank up just to be able to hear anything)
Absolutely! Especially if you're jogging in busy areas and want to stay aware of your surroundings. They are also sweat and water resistant with their IP54 protection rating.
I am. Have been using oladance pros for well over a year daily. In ear are really uncomfortable to me and I don't want to wear my big over ear anc headphones out in public. I also find myself having some heightened anxiety when I can't hear my environment
I dont have any right now, but I've thought about looking into them since i have abnormally small ear canals. earbuds that go directly into my ear are irritating, and i also have an issue with my earwax production as well to the point where i have to use medicated ear drops. it's all about preference *shrugs*

Can you share your eq settings 🙏🏼
Can they be used independently and are they glasses friendly?
Yes and yes.

You guys were my childhood!! I saved up all my chore money to by a pair of RHA t20i's after i saw them on your channel!
Awesome review
I wonder how they are compared to 1More S70.
Nice review
Doesnt look like you tried the oladance Pros,
Which are likely better these and slightly less bassy than the bose ear clips
Can you control the volume from the ear buds without having to pull out your phone?
Yes! There is a pinch control on each earbud for volume and playback control. The commands are also customizable via the Nothing X app.
3:17 but is that what you experienced?
@SoundGuys any pros/cons for those of us who wear prescription glasses?

What about the huawei freeclip? Between these two whats the best?
Thank you for the review
how is this compared to the bose ultra open?
The Nothing Ear (Open) offers more low-end and a better overall listening experience all day long than the Bose Ultra Open.

How’s the sound leakage on these?
Minimal, unless you have your music turned up to 11, of course.
how does it sit with eyewear?
pretty well, actually
Developers of Nothing headphones, after reading your comment: damn... 😰
Ive been meaning to buy open ear buds, but do other people hear what you’re listening to?

How's comfort if worn with glasses?
It's doable! You may have to make some minor adjustments once your glasses are on, but I had no issues wearing my sunglasses and these earbuds at the same time.
can these work with people with small ears
Is there any way to mute/unmute during call ?
guys, u forgot the nothing ear stick, which is their first open ear TWS.
Nothing Ear Stick is not an open ear design..

Whats the sound leakage like?
They explained that it's actually zero because there's a speaker on the outside that cancels the leakage, so the outside world hears NOTHING.
Minimal! Unless your music is absolutely cranked.
The king of Open Ear buds sound quality are Huawei Free Clips. How would you compare with those?
Thanks for this
Review the oladance open ear pro they truly are the best for open ear headphones

150? I remember way back when open in ear headphones (decent ones) cost like 30...
Way back?
Red for right seems more like .. from the past imo
Looks like TURKE FREEDOM BUDS
These vs the Soundcore Aerofit?
That charging case looks cheap, and it is NOT thin.
Absolutely love the design and especially that case but $149 with no ANC is kinda steep tbh.
ANC defeats the entire purpose of these types of buds and would be ineffective anyways (remember Galaxy Beans?)
@@mma0911more recent examples are airpods 4 and galaxy buds 3, they have anc. Although the beans are stemless open earbuds.

White? Why? Everything white is Apple's copies... why not a black color option?
because they want to be assosiated with the same things as apple is/was which is an easy way to hijack brand love
