I'm definitely in love.... Better than ever! Heard him the first time in Mikkeli festival 6-7 years ago playing Shostakovic concerto n.1, a most mature interpretation to a young man! I highly recommend listening Sibelius concerto, too.

The violinist is superb, the equal and superior to any in my listening experience who have performed this. The conductor, however, is unmusical and completely misunderstands Tchaikovsky; he is plodding, anemic, too subdivided, and has no passion or energy. Shameful. This great artist deserved much better.

Bien d'accord, le son est fabuleux mais l'image est à redire, un peu fixe ! Mais on ne critiquera pas la belle arménienne qui l'a mise en ligne !

A great shame that such a world class violinist is supported by a mediocre orchestra - he deserves better.
