That was fixed the way it should have been .....We've always called your disc blade, chain to the lid and buried, a deadman.....Great job Gary, it will last for years like that. I like your old fingernail trimmer for cutting up the small wood...Everybody had one of those up here many years ago. Thanks Gary
We used cistern water at home. My brother still pumps his to water his garden. I agree. It was a hazard. Also familiar with the buzz saw. Thank you Gary.
Wall support looks good to me 👍 That's what I was thinking, before you mentioned it. I've filled in a few cisterns, old wells, septic tanks.. usually bust them in on themselves, then use whatever for fill and top it off with a few feet of dirt.. deep enough a subsoiler won't hit anything. Well done crew!!
That buzz saw just kept getting scarier the faster it spun. Nice job on the wall. I figured the concrete would have cracked. Great idea with the anchor points
This Concrete wall is going no where and having that crush rock will removed all the water who might froze and push the wall during winter 😇👍👌Be Well Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
That’s some nice work Gary , can’t wait to see what it looks like all finished up. Thanks for the video and hope you all have a blessed week my friend.
Good morning Gary, great to see the old buzz saw in action. Very nice neighbors. Very nice solution to the problem. I enjoyed the video, have a great week, Ben 👋😎👍
The buzz saw is very cool although a bit scary. That is a fantastic idea to hold the wall with a chain to the old lid. I don't think that wall is going anywhere now, great job
I missed some of your videos! Hello, Gary. Those old buzz saws cut a lot of wood in their days! But man there were a few fingers and maybe a few hands lost over the years. Great job on that wall Gary. Take care
I think that comes from years of frost heave pushing against the wall. Thanks for sharing your project. I received your mail. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers
Great job Gary. I’d say that wall is not going any where. 👍🏻. Old school saw bench, as I call them, you want to keep the area clean so you don’t trip on any thing. But I know you know that. Again Gary, thanks so much for the sticker. It’s great. Would like to see more saw bench or buzz saw, as you call it, doing some work. I think there are other name people call those saws, but I can’t remember them now. Have a great week you and Barb. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
How's she goin'? Wow Gary, that's the way to fill in a well and repair a retaining wall. What a nice job. That wall will stand up to most anything now eh!! Good and solid. It's amazing how much rock a hole in teh ground will take. The old 9n and the buzz saw work some good but it's a scary thing to work around eh!! Great video Gary. Man your place sure looks beautiful with the nice sun shining. You have a lovely spot!! Take 'er easy!!
The wall should stay. You invented plenty of ways to hold it. At least the top of that cistern caved in. I abandoned plenty of old crock wells back in my well drilling days using the same model 580 Case backhoe you had there and some of those old reinforced crocks would not break.
Very Nice Load Of Small Rock 👍😇
L67 hello, good evening,.. nice video, Thanks for sharing this great information. may you always be healthy and successful in life
Looks like a suitable repair, that anchoring will help tremendously👍🙏
