Hey my friend I need that transom bracket. Where did you buy it from? I can't find it online. I have the same aquos hewsing 12v 55lbs thrust bow mount trolling motor in white and I need to put it in the transom. Great video thanks for sharing
From what I remember the quick release puck must be attached to the transom bracket. You could modify it to fit on the stock bracket. I think this was the easiest way for the company to do less work at not re-engineer anything.
@@thepauldixonOC I found a model that comes with transom. Google for Haswing motor transom and u will see a cayman model with transom mount. But some how if u go to their website u won’t find this model at all. So weird.
@@jeffreyau1286 That unit wasn't for sale when I bought mine. However, it lacks GPS and spot lock. It is an awesome option for a transom mount, it's called the Cayman T.
I hear it is more efficient to pull the boat then push. So take that in account, with what I am saying. However, I went bowfishing the other night with three people including myself. I would say that equals about 600lbs of people and we moved along very well. I hit a log that night and there is no damage to the trolling motor. Luckily my cheapo steel mount bent upward instead of bending the aluminum shaft. Haswing built the shaft like it belongs on a tank, super solid construction and no flex. My worry is that this trolling motor does not break away when being hit, I could have seriously messed some things up.

Is it efficient when mounted on the back? Have you tried?
