Fix the Korg NTS-1 connection issue in Windows for REAL!

i usually hate watching multiple minutes of video to learn something that could be written in 3 sentences of text, but this time it was worth it, thanks! (totally beyond my understanding why Korg cannot fix tat properly and we instead have to jump through these loops...)

I had been through this problem before but did not remember how to find the list of midi devices. Your video is extremely clear and easy to follow and I'm glad Korg included a way to help solve the problem since they caused the problem in the first place! I'm very grateful that you made this video

Thank you. That worked for me. And as you said, disconnecting and reconnecting my other USB audio devices added them back into the list.

thank you! I was thinking my device was defective, I was going to return it to the seller, now it works! I can transfer the plugins to the NTS-1

You accidentally fixed it for me! I was picking some other NTS-1 option in the MIDI connections menu instead of the ones you chose. Second I did that BAM! It worked. Thank you!

Thank you so much, this was a massive help although I found that it didn't work if I deleted the NTS-1 from the list and it still moved it up the list to MIDI 7 which was good enough for the librarian to see it this time. 🙂 👍

3:35 at this point after uninstalling them, what is that 'double check' you do? What brings up that installer window? For me it doesn't pop up automagically. If you mean the installer from the website, that I started, but that doesn't bring back the midi driver into the list when I check it with the uninstaller

I tried everything in this excellent video but I still could not get the Librarian to work until I completely un installed the Korg Driver and just used the Windows Driver. If you are only going to use the Librarian AVOID the Korg Driver!
