They should at least tell him he's wearing pink pants.
KidMillions he knows what he's wairing! And he's happy with it!!
They are actually salmon colored!!! 😂😂😂
I get very uncomfortable looking at this because I imagine someone full on yanking the antenna from his head.
My god! That's exactly what I thought :))
So nobody suggested a color sensor connected to an earpiece?
That's a better idea
That's.... Not how science works
@@eliaspapa4415 Your brain doesn't work.
Isn't that kinda what this is? It just plays a higher pitch sound when it senses a color. I don't see why you'd need to drill a large hole in your skull.
@@douhwufwef5207 because feeling/hearing the vibrations in your skull doesn't interfere with other audio, it's like an extra sense which leverages part of his hearing.
Amazing until the bit at the end "Imagine that, a cyborg. A cyborg." People with pacemakers are cyborgs, people with byonic limbs are cyborgs, we're surrounded by cyborgs every day.
Yeah and when the sun throws out that solar storm they keep worrying. What happens to those electronics and digital money that's so normal now as none of them are hardened against even Carrington event level solar storms as they say the next one will he worse.....
I hate to point this out but stan lees superhuman had a blind guy use an analog clicker as he was blind folded in a pitch black room and he could tell the the texture and color of things without bionics.
So that antenna is kinda not needed if you train your senses the right way.
They never explain how he does it either but my guess would be that quantumly the vibrations of particles in the air pics something up and the guys brain deciphers it. Would have to be quantum to cause the air doesn't move with the sound waves, the waves just pass by so how would auditory sound carry color info that he can "see" through echolocation.

I will die if I eat dairy and there is no cure for FPIES (the disease I have) the fact that they can do this but not cure something that simple amazes me
Whyschool Sucks How can they cure you if your disease is incurable lmao
Well that was 3 years ago. How bout now?
Behold! The Snork King!!!
looks a bit like the creatures from that old cartoon snorks. its really cool, but so out of the realm of the norm it seams unreal. i wonder if he gets a lot of strange looks.
The background music is "Roygbiv" By Boards of Canada.
Clever...
A cyborg
Saw him on TED talks!
they chose the PERFECT intro song for this one (ROYGBIV, boards of canada)
soooo what will happen if he cut his hair
This is what Synaesthesia is like for me. How amazing is this technology though
This doesn't really make any difference though. He still doesn't actually experience colour. He experiences sound - thats it.
That chip needs a patch upgrade his taste in colour is a bit off :)
It is April 1st?
That is very cool
very cool
Cool, but that would seriously annoy me
Impressive
He can afford that but he can't afford a decent haircut 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
you want us to laugh 😳 ! whats wrong with his hair ,it is a decent haircut .
His haircut is worth more than your life, you fuck.
Damm I would get this
He looks like Ian from smosh
lmao
DALEK!!!
The device would have come in handy when he was getting dress. Guess it was turned off or something.
His outfit looks great. Very vibrant.
weird
Sumple Jack
Imagine a future where this is so wide spread that we have song painting. Man that would be so awesome. (and yes I understand that this technology is mainly for people like Neil who can't see colour and I am happy for them but who knows maybe one day this stuff like will be so cheap and widespread that several people who can see colour will get it just for the experience)
hear colour ??
I bet green is the loudest colour
Hilarious
he is an alien in disguise!!
next gen has x sensor
this video is wierd :-)
Ur spelling is weird :D

😂😂😂😎
This weird
Really? Does EVERY life have to matter?
Probability of detecting a color correctly 93% , probability of ever getting laid again 0.0001%

That chip needs a patch upgrade his taste in colour is a bit off :)
