I'm thinking about getting a 2024 Civic, but I'm wondering if I should hold off for the 2025 model, which will be a mid-cycle refresh and could have some updated rear seat belts or other tweaks to get it to a good rating.
That's probably a good idea. And if it doesn't get updated just get a 24 for cheaper
I'd say it's also worth checking out 24 Integras as well, especially if you're thinking about getting an Si. I got my 2024 Integra with 2400 miles, and it was cheaper than Si's with 20k miles in my area
Honestly the vehicle weight alone is so low I'd contemplate something heavier if you're buying on safety, updated or not.
@@SuperMrgentleman your one of those massive SUV fans because it's "safer". You know as weight goes up so does roll over
@@otmotivealt8522 Check the fatalities and IIHS statements on vehicle weight- they are safer, especially well engineered ones.
The Integra was based on the Civic that’s why it earned an Acceptable
that is a very fancy civic
I mean the car didn't do bad
And really it's just the rear passenger that has a bad time, so if you don't have people in back often it may not matter.
@@SuperMrgentleman ok
Acceptable
Almost good.....
Almost.....
I dunno, there was head impacting the roof, sure it’s an A?
That's why it got an A for Acceptable and not Good. If you read the full report, they note that the head hit the headliner
@@harrydang9 still not acceptable.
@@brandonstews238its acceptable.
@@brandonstews238are you the one with access to the data? No? Then your opinion is mostly irrelevant

i dont trust those tiny cars
Unfortunately, that's an invalid statement, if you think this car is tiny? Think again. Europe and Asia, said otherwise.
since when regular sedans are considered "tiny"? this is not even a subcompact.
