Let me know if you have any questions.
Do i just need the spade female connectors to connect the batteries to each other?
@@kevinhoops1 yes, but to connect the controller you'll need some other connectors. I actually don't think I have those linked in the document so I will add what I bought when I home in about 20 minutes
Hey i was wondering if you needed the fuse i was also wondering if you could use a 48v 5ah charger
@@Windoweditzzz it's a 20 amp fuse and the whole battery pack is 20 amps so I think you could get along without it but I keep mine. Watch my video about the controller. I talk about the charger and how to hook it up. You need a specific charger for SLA batteries only
In rereading your comment I wanted to say this, I don't specifically know what a 5 amp hour charger would look like because amp hours refers to battery capacity. A 5 amp charger would be different. That means it's putting out 5 amps of power any the moment, not over time. I think the 48 volt charger in my video puts out 1.8 amps.
Thanks i bought a charger and my crazy cart goes faster. Thanks
@@Windoweditzzz congrats! Also I gave bad info to you. The system is actually pulling 10.41 amps of your on 48v using the stock motor. Four 5 Ah batteries in series is also still only 5Ah in capacity, not 20.
is it important really to measure the voltage in every battery or i can just hook it up and just start charging and using it
@@The_Fearer I can't believe I missed this freaking comment. Yes it is important to measure the voltage in every battery. If they are not topped off try to get a 12-volt charger from your car or something and charge them to the same voltage. I've had to do that. If there happens to be a very low battery in the link it will hold the rest of them back.
Do you have to have them all at the Same voltage?
@@kevinhoops1 yes, same 48v setup, same controller, same fork bearing. One has stock casters with rollerblade wheels, the other two have my caster upgrade, one with soft longboard wheels, the other with two rollerblade wheels side by side. Only the yellow one has the 350w motor but I think I'm going to try other motors on the other carts eventually. Maybe even make my own fork.
I don't know how I read your comment wrong 🤔
Yes, all the batteries need to be at the same voltage/charge (I feel like I responded to this maybe in another comment) otherwise the lowest charged battery will negatively effect the whole system. Sorry, it's been a tough day.
@@Francisco-Danconia Its okay
Yoo bro I'm planning a 48v pack with a custom controller. Is it possible to get your whatsapp or instagram so we can chat about the carts?
@@jeffz9287 my email is in the Google doc from the description. My knowledge only extends to what's seen here in these videos though. I would have zero knowledge on custom controllers or brushless setups.
@@Francisco-Danconia the link is not working
