السلام عليكم، جزاكم الله خيراً على هذا الفيديو.
There is a mistake at 9:02: on the bottom left of the screen, it says that the ayah is from surah al Baqarah aya 228, but it is actually from Surah An-Nisa Aya 113.

This is amazing JazakAllah… using this method when practicing helps to learn faster and efficiently with hope that you can achieve. JazakAllah appreciate your efforts always

Assalam-o-alaykum. How do Arabs determine the reading of a person's name? I mean we can read Arabic sentences with context, but it will be different with someone's name. We can't tell someone's name based on context. For example like this, حمد. It can be read in two ways: حَمَد (hamad) and حَمْد (hamd). How do we make sure? Do we need to ask the person concerned about how to read their name correctly?
Wa alikom asslam brother,
For the majority of cases Arabs don't need tashkeel to know how to pronounce names .. For examples, in my entire life, I've not seen an Arab called حمد with sukoon on the mim, but dozens called حَمَد so if I see حمد I will automatically assume it is حَمَدَ .. I am not saying it can't be otherwise, but it is really based on what is common.
Added to that, many names follow the phonetic rules what I explained before here: ua-cam.com/video/_UP1nQBcVHc/v-deo.html
@@Arabic101 How if a mother decides to name his son with hamd (حَمْد) and not hamad (حَمَد)? Do Arab people always give a name that has relation with Arabic words? I think in English, a name doesn't always has relation with real word, for example I'll give my son with the name Alex. There's no Alex word in English dictionary.
@name3583
Alex is a common name. It's common to see the name and automatically know that the pronunciation will be 'al eks' and not 'al eeks' unless it has been clarified.
Or any other pronunciation for that matter.
Likewise, your example of حمد automatically one will know how to pronounce as they are generally common names.
Hope you understand
@@yaffacake22 Thank you. However what happens if the Arabic name is uncommon? Could Arab people still read it correctly?
