In this lesson, we highlight the most common mistakes in the Athan which are very common nowadays even in bigger mosques around the world.

Jazakallallahu khair! I have been wondering about these things for a long time. Such as why some people said "ash hadu AN la ilaha ila allah" instead of "ash hadu AL lailaha ila allah" May Allah reward you for your sincere good deeds and efforts.
Sorry brother the real word is "Ash hadu an laa'ilaha illaa llaah" not ash hadu Alaa ilaha ilaa lah

Some old people give azaan wrong but no body say's anything to them plus they don't understand tajweed
The Mu'athin should be the one with the most beautiful voice, and best makharij. Not with age, how much they memorize from the Quran or such criteria.

Baarak Allahu feekum! I just wanted to add two more that I hear quite often.
1) Pronoucing the هاء as a حاء in أشهد. Its almost like there is an assumption that the there is no "h" sound in Arabic and its always a حاء.
2) Prouncing the ألفات with تفخيم in words other than Allah, such as pronoucing صلاة as Salaw, and the شهادة as "Law ilawha illaw Allah"
i just know that so far my adzan is mistaken, jazakallahu khoir ya akhi for discussing this chapter where many muslim dont know many mistaken they just miss...

Another improper pronunciation is the use of qalaqalah in Akbar, it comes out as Ak kabar. Can you please elaborate on this? JazzakAllah khair.

Brother, السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته. Do you have a proper example for us to hear, to help your ear get used to it?
I can't hear any differences between some of them sometimes or it is so slightly different that it's hard to notice, I don't know how to remember it and make the difference while praying as normal, like not that slowly.
In pakistan all such mistakes are committed while saying azan.
Including the first one he mentioned , which was saying “Azan” 😅

Salem 3alik. Chukran djaziran. I have a question about the word الصًّلاة. Why we don’t pronounce the ة ? Precisely why is it pronounced as a ه ?
You can check the brothers other videos, but I can simply tell you as best as I can.
The ة acts as a ه if you’re stopping on a word which ends with it like the word الصلاة, but if you continue, it’s read as ت. If you didn’t stop at the word salaah then you would continue and say salaat(as well as the vowel on the ة). It’s called a looped taa so it can be pronounced as a taa or haa depending on if you stop or not. Hope that helps

At the end of the word rahmah in assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatu allahi wa barakaatuh, there is the same letter. When stopping you say rahmah, otherwise it’s rahmatu
