I'm Turkish and i'm sorry for my supposed ancestors' acts. It's even sadder for us to see their massacre resulted in armenian racism in this generation. Curse racism. All racists, armenian or turk, are all murderers or potential murderers.

This means so much! I want you to know that my grandmother - although most of her family was killed and her brother murdered in front of her eyes during the genocide- was saved by a Turkish woman who saved her and kept her the cellar for about a month till she was safe to escape and run to present-day Armenia.

We will never forget the amazing Turkish neighbours and friends who have helped lots of Armenians escape the massacres ❤ this racism breaks my heart! Last month I did ancestry test and found out I have tons of Turkish 4th-5th cousins 💔

His genius and melancholic voice is the voice of his nation at that period.
    He is our national memory.
Blessed in the Kingdom of GOD.

A deeply felt voice. My eyes are filled with tears. My grandparents are from the region of Armenia, and this music is somehow inside my head, without having listen before. It is so moving.Thank you.

Bizi birbirimize kırdırdılar ama ben bu sesi hiç unutmadım kardeşim! Hep birlikte Anadolu’da bir sonsuzluk içinde kardeşçe yaşamayı dilerdim..

One of the greatest jewels of Armenians. This was also a great day in my life. When such purity is heard words can not describe. RIP Komitas Vartapet

Where did this clip come from? I was reading Kapuscinski's Imperium and he discusses Komitas in his travels to Armenia. I had to discover him for myself and this is a wonderful thing to find.

I think another way to say "hills take a breathe"...
You can't translate the same word ...
I say, every language has a soul ...
    You can translate the words
    but never the soul...!!!

People say Gomidas "Armenian Armenian Armenian", he was an artist and a cosmopolitant by nature. He also collected Turkish and Kurdish folk songs as if they were Armenian songs. If you don't understand his message of peace just shut up.

Yes 100% but that fact did not spare him...the sad fact is that turks and armenians were friends and armenians didn't suspect that something like that would be planned and executed by the ittihad turks and their followers...smile and friendliness on their faces while they striked on the back of the armenians...everything was planned so meticulously
