Just a thought. The printer is like the till receipts, and they fade away with time, that would be my only worry. The gadget is brilliant and I think it is great to be able to print on the go and yes, it is fun indeed, worth having just to play and take notes, worth experimenting if not that expensive, thanks for the tip.
I was gonna say the same thing. Also, when I experimented with that type of paper and applied my heat tool, the text disappeared. Curious if that paper will do the same? Otherwise, it would make a great tool for those of us that don’t enjoy our own hand writing. We could journal, print it, and place it in a tuck spot. ❤❤❤
I got a few rolls, different colours, different sizes, all had similar result, the print fades with time and worse if exposed to light. The heat gun makes the text disappear. WhatI was doing was experimenting with a resist, stamping and embossing an image, clear embossing powder. It created a fabulous resist. The paper became black, the image white, beautiful, and has not changed since, but thermal printing went away. Just sharing my experience. If you do not have a budget that allows you flexibility one must think about it before investing. It is very interesting to experiment with thermal paper, I work with heat, fabrics, wires, mixed media that is how I came to work with it.@@alysonhovanec6314
@@artymaze oh shoot! You are right. It was after applying my clear medium, and then using my heat tool that made the words disappear. It was crazy weird.
