I am planning the accommodation for my daughter as an international student in City. The google review is really terrible and makes me worried about it.

    PLEASE READ DO NOT IGNORE!
I have a friend who is keen on studying at City University. And I told him that many years ago I was the victim of racial bullying and discrimination by a number of senior lecturers and the university let me down by failing to investigate. These group of lecturers don't like it if you do things differently as a student by using your own imagination and creativity. A group of lecturers are now under criminal investigation, which could result in a criminal conviction. I would be very curious to know how many more students out there went through a similar experience like I did. And here is an interesting fact. The university also had links to the slave trade, i.e. associated with the name Cass.

Even members of the Student's Union (SU) failed to represent me. People like Thalia Anagnostopoulou, SU President Hamish Patel. Managers like Gregory Wellington and Natalie Cardwell, senior lecturers like Christopher Atkin, Douglas Greenwell, Mark Broom, Jamshid Nouri, Panicos Kyriacou, Cedric D'Mello, Kenneth Grattan within the engineering and Mathematical sciences department thought I was deluded. Now what do professional sporting athletes do if they are subjected to either direct or indirect form of racial bullying or discrimination in a sporting environment? Perhaps I could try approaching famous people like BBC's Match of The Day football pundit Gary Linekar; The Football Association, my former Head of Safety Steward at Chelsea Football Club, Jill Dawson; The Head of London Metropolitan Police Service, Sir Mark Rowley; London Mayor Sadiq Khan. I strongly believe that I do have a number of options in pursuing this case through the Crown Courts and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), considering that a university is supposed to be a place of education and a learning environment. 14 years since I did my degree and this case has not been resolved. This kind of attitude and mentality of members does raise serious questions about the ethos of governing bodies such as the IMechE, RAeS and etc.
