As a Buckeye fan, i gotta say, you guys have a good coach and is doing a much better job with the program and players than what Ryan Day has done. Sure each year he(Ryan Day) has a top 5 recruiting class, which is great by all means, but he’s not doing what he should be doing with all that talent. He won’t let them ball out, he’s too constrictive with his coaching and play calling. The main issue, I think, is the lack of trust that Day has towards the players. Hence, they are not balling out. Also, I never see them having fun. It’s a total lack of energy and ballness since he’s taking over. As for Haurbaugh, he may not be getting top recruiting classes, but he does put trust in the players, hence they do ball out and have been beating my buckeyes for the third straight year. On top of that, on their sidelines, they are all smiling and enjoying themselves, that says a lot about the coaching and program. No matter who we recruit, as long as we have Ryan Day, I don’t think we ll be beating Michigan anytime soon. Sure going 11-1 or 10-2 isn’t bad, but if we can’t win the big games and The game, essentially 10-2 doesn’t mean much. The two teams weren’t miles apart like the previous two meetings. Anything can happen next year. Osu will win again and it could be 2024 depending on who comes back next season.
