The Striper Blues Journal - Video Log 269 - 5 Quick Specks!

Sports Fans!
When you are waiting for the tide to switch on and get the bigger fish moving, well, dink Speckled Trout are an awesome way to pass the time. There was just enough movement prior to the slack tide and we had a TON of shrimp move in and these little guys strapped on the feed bag! These little fellows don't know they are small and are one of the prettiest fish I've ever seen.
The gear had to be very lightweight. I've really fallen in love with the ‪@ShimanoNorthAmericaFishing‬ Curado BFS, it is an absolute blast to be able to throw ned rig style baits on a baitcasting set up. The ‪@ZManFishingProducts‬ EZ ShrimpZ in greasy prawn was a direct hit matching the shrimp that were everywhere.
Headed down there again to see if the cooling October temperatures fire the fish up even more.
