I believe Gordon is a strong alternative to Diaz on the left, but is he capable of preventing Gakpo from claiming that left-sided attacking role? In my opinion, Diaz isn't likely to leave this summer. In fact, I don't foresee us losing any of our front five players. If it's true that AS favors wingers, then the links with Gordon might indeed be accurate. We could potentially have Cody and Gordon on the left, and Salah and Diaz on the right, providing excellent options for rotation. If we retain our key players, we don't need many new signings this summer. Our primary needs would be a center-back/left-back and a central defensive midfielder, so perhaps one to two quality signings. If Kelleher departs, which I doubt, then we would need a new backup goalkeeper as well. Side note. While there's a lot of excitement around the talent displayed at the Euros, I haven't seen anyone particularly exceptional. In fact, we already have two of the standout performers from the Euros and three from the Copa at our club, highlighting our strong squad depth.
With the new Champions league format and us going decently far in all competitions, even a bench option of Gakpo/Gordon would play around 30 games. They are 2 different profiles and we need both
A few points - 1 Gordon can play LW, RW and Striker 2 Given the games we have upcoming we need to move past a first 11 to a first 22 3 - We were looking for a player who could play across the front 3 positions
@@AllRedShow he’s also 3-4 years younger than Diaz and scores more = most likely we will sell Diaz and get Gordon - maybe next season ie withn 18 months
Barcelona can't afford Diaz. I'm not sure he is their number one target anyway. Gakpo has not played lots on the wing for Liverpool so he is unproven (in that position) in the PL. He did play a lot there for PSV in a lesser league. As for Gordon, I think he is the best of the three and still young but certainly overpriced. If Newcastle drop his price to 75m plus add ons and we find a buyer for Diaz maybe it will happen.

Very well said mate!!
Not sure Gordon is the answer but if Edwards and Slot want him I’ll trust their process.
Same here mate. He’s a solid player but not sure we need to spend big for him.
Edwards was responsible for Ben Davies and Kabak, his radar fell off towards the end.
@nonnayoubuzinnes1669 nobody can get them all right. But good point.

That’s true. Good point. And If Gordon can shift to striker and RW he could be versatile all season long.

Great points. If he really is that versatile it could be a great scoop then.

I’d be down for swapping Diaz for Gordon … I think Gordon would be better for us.
@@AllRedShow I agree - also he fits the homegrown status allow us to get a non home grown player
@donyoung333 yep I think that’s why he’ll be expensive too.

Good points. Gakpo also plays LW for Netherlands 🇳🇱 and does really well. Lots of goals.
Gordon is a superb young talent eho will be a great player like Coutinho. Its a buy for me
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Slot likes exceptionally quick wingers gakpo and Diaz are no slouches but neither are blisteringly quick. I think gakpo is an ideal false 9 for me.
Gakpo is a really good LW tho. Can’t wait to see what aloft does with all this talent
100% regarding Gakpo. I think it could be a real break out season for him across those attacking positions. Exciting times!
@jamesboothroyd1484 yes!
I knew that if Gordon come to Liverpool FC he will be able to get ready for first eleventh
Most likely! Although Gakpo is making his case right now.
We don't need to sell, we sold 2 young player to cover PSR
PLEASE KEEP UP 😂😂😂😂
GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT ABOUT OUR OWNERS 🤦♂️ FFS
😂😂😂
Not too sure about him I'd rather we break the bank for kvratskeliha
Yes I like that idea
If Gordon is the answer, what is the question? 🤔
😂
No
@rendaninetshisaulu669
Diaz, Gakpo, Nunez and Jota can all play on the left!! What’s the sitar here???
Exactly
Isak is there most valuable player
Right but Gordon has more potential and is more valuable to the club.
@@AllRedShowthat'd not true one bit 😂😂
@@AllRedShow😂😂😂
I’m not saying Gordon is a better player … I’m saying due to Gordon being English and his potential I think he’s more valuable to English clubs.
If grealish fetched £100m … what is Gordon worth?

Dives way too much, not for me.
He did play for Everton so ….
@@AllRedShow 😂That's another reason not to sign him
