Newcastle have this evening accepted a £33m bid from Brighton for winger Yankuba Minteh, so if this is true they dont have to sell Gordon I think as the reported £25 million they need will be covered, If I'm correct in my thinking.
You’re right. That has thrown a spanner in the works… However, It is unclear at this stage whether PSR issue is resolved for Newcastle but a big chunk of the deficit has been removed. Talk of one more deal tomorrow potentially being done. Gordon’s position at the club is still in the air, it’s not done just yet. Let’s see what happens tomorrow. 🤞
