My primary reason for riding the mini Niko by diamondback is the look for the belt is 3” wide and is Velcro.
Meaning I can Velcro is around some conduit (hanging while I work) or hand it on a scissor lift and etc.
That’s a fine tool pouch veto made tho

got two of them....MPX and MPX1 ...good quality but for some reason that clip design bothers me alot...i am a INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN. ..WALKING A LOT STAIRS UP AND DOWN TROUBLE SHOOTING EQUIPMENT UNDERNEATH IS JUST UNCOMFORTABLE

i think the flaring of those pockets might be because its a mp2x and not the mp1x, sewing pattern might be different idk. but yeah i have the mp1x and they sit straight. also could be some quality control they gotta work on. i got the tech otmc and the leather rim on it is slanted when you look at it straight on . works fine and its just a cosmetic issue but it bothers me a bit lol

Agreed if you look closely you’ll find some flaws. Overall still like the pouch👍

I’m waiting on my mp1 to finally mess up too on the button 😂 but I’m gonna do the same as you and get the mp2 next time. But the main question is, what pants are you wearing that have a chapstick pocket big enough for that flap??? 😂😂

Ive been eyeing up this exact setup for a while
I want a Diamonback Flux for my left side and either this or the Diamondback Mini Niko for my right side
What made you choose this pouch over the mini niko?

The Mini Niko was never really considered because it doesn’t have a belt clip like the MP2X. I know the Flux & Mini Niko have the Velcro belt loop that can be pulled apart but it’s not as easy to just pull it on and off the belt, hang and go like the belt clip design. Personally the convenience of the belt clip sold me and my time with the MP1 prior.
Although now that I’ve been using the Flux, which is phenomenal I can safely assume the Mini Niko is probably just as great. Hope that helps. 👍⚡️

Feels great tbh. That was my biggest concern but it slips right it and out and fits great on the d- ring of OT MC bag
