personally, as a purple person myself, I agree that purple is an amazing color. (Also color theory wise it works when shading with deeper values and it's a nice color to bring warm and cool tones together since it uses both a cool and warm color to make it :D )
Green and purple go together though. They're complimentary colors to each other on the color wheel. They can't be better than the other because they both compliment each other.

To be honest after the second time of destroying my base and chasing me around for 5 minutes, I would have reported the guy to an admin. The first time you could get away with, but the second time of going after players like that is harassment
