I am not sure Zeynep ever loved Medhi for real, she always looked so uncomfortable with him, tentative... I think she made herself believe she loved him to survive the marriage and as soon as he showed their marriage would be unbalanced because of his constant need for control, she immediately left and never doubted her decison. Leaving someone you truly love and you intended to love forever, even if you know you are making the right decision, is not that easy.
@@anned9696 I agree with you, Zeynep was looking for a home and in the beginning Medhi gave her that even though she was never comfortable with him she tried to make the marriage work. She even neglected who she was and what she wanted for herself in order to be the wife he wanted. But she been the goal oriented person who wants to travel the world and be the best lawyer possible. When what she wanted for herself and what he was looking for out a wife collide with each other no way a marriage would work because he wanted a stepford wife someone who stays at home clean the house and have dinner on the table by seven and she couldn't do that and when he realized that he couldn't go where she was going his need to control everything just explored.
