It's funny, i know from my own nostalgia that the memory that kicks in *first* is AS-OceanFloor, that wonderful assault map. The second nostalgia punch I get is from CTF-HallOfGiants, which I regard as the second-best UT CTF map. The THIRD nostalgia punch is playing Unreal 4Ever Gauntlet on both of those maps.
Im impressed, it sounds modern yet classic at the same time. I searched for years for a competent nether animal redux and this one does a very good job.
God yes- Nether Animal has always been one of my favorite tracks, from it's building atmosphere and great mixing of sound textures. It's heavy, yet somehow calm.
Sucks that newer games don't use this style anymore, this is a gem, a literal improvement with the same essence without noisy gimmicks, just a pure upgrade. Shit needs to go back sometimes...

Damn Kriegor and the shield belt On Novice he's tough as shit, and is apparently faster than me. Highest difficulty I could go for in the tournament now is probably Expert, I think that's what it is. For practice Godlike is probably the best. Only difficulty that has A chance of preparing me for how many times I'll die playing online.
When playing UT 2017, Outpost, hardest difficulty. I jumped to get the armor, that had to come in about 1 second. I stand there. A fucking bot comes and literally pushes me from the armor spot before I had the opportunity to kill him, takes the armor and obviously kills me. +1 bully Bot -1 AI shouldn't be able to push away a player just by moving on him

Thanks so much! Well, it seems there is some mix of genres and this is the strong point of UT99 soundtrack - it combines many styles but it all keeps as one solid spirit. Each track has it's own influences of jungle (drum-n-bass), techno, industrial, trance music, it also has kind of hybrid (orchestra with electronic) tracks which are more frequent in ut2004, so it's not just a one-word style... well just as many other movie\game soundtracks B-)

I really like the techno style with crazy drums UT had, it really sat it appart of the concurence that preffered to go with death metal and crazy bass riffs\lead guitar solos, I love it too, but it really play on the way the games felt, same for the demonic\anarchic design of the others againts UT's High Tech\Under Controll environement.
I despise my ignorance in English, and have to admit I understand Your comment partly %-) Anyway I like UT soundtracks too, I found it perfectly fit and I really hope Epic will continue it's tradition with further UT series.

You need to see if the guys at epic would accept this and your mission landing remix into UT4 alpha whenever they get assault game mode and maps into the game. I would love to hear these tracks return into the series.

I really like the techno style with crazy drums UT had, it really sat it appart of the concurence that preffered to go with death metal and crazy bass riffs\lead guitar solos, I love it too, but it really play on the way the games felt, same for the demonic\anarchic design of the others againts UT's High Tech\Under Controll environement.
I despise my ignorance in English, and have to admit I understand Your comment partly %-) Anyway I like UT soundtracks too, I found it perfectly fit and I really hope Epic will continue it's tradition with further UT series.
