- Hi everyone! My sisters and I recently went on the trip of a lifetime to Israel. I will have a whole series on each city we visited, and this Haifa travel vlog is the first in that series. Haifa is one of the more overlooked cities to visit in Israel, but in my opinion, it is not to be missed! Haifa is a young city full of artists and coexistence between people of all religions. I must say, I live in Haifa, near the beach, and I never saw so much Ouzo or Arak as you seem to be getting. Believe me, lots of people don't drink so much. But yes, Haifa is a great city. Many other Israelis would love to move to Haifa. We are in the middle of major urban renewal. The beach has already been improved greatly. You can walk for 12 or more kilometers inside of Haifa on the beach. More of a family town, than a Western-style night life city. Which quiet we like. There is a nice cafe culture, as in all Israel. Cheers from Haifa!

How awesome! It’s such a cool city. There’s also the mount carmel caves nearby that I’ve heard are really cool to see, we didn’t get to do it but I wanted to. Make sure you get out and explore more of Israel, it’s a small country but so varied everywhere you go. I have more videos of different Israeli cities/areas :)

If you are looking for a clean small guest house, the least expensive guesthouse is the German Colony Guesthouse. Shared bathrooms, no breakfast, a simple place to stay for the traveler that needs a bed and a quiet place to sleep. The German Colony Guesthouse is located less than 5 min. walking distance of the Bahai Gardens (the Hanging Gardens of Haifa). The German Colony Guesthouse is at a very close distance from all the buses that you need in the North of Israel. Easy access by bus to Nazareth, Safed, Tiberias and all over the Galilee Region. Walking distance to the Bahai Gardens. Walking distance to the boat to Accre. Walking distance to the train that connects to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

We visited Jerusalem, I’m actually posting that video on Thursday so stay tuned!!! Bethlehem is sadly not very safe at the moment so I have never had the chance to visit it :(
