How do you remove the masking fluid from your water color paper? Since it is not completely smooth does it stick in the grooves? TIA 0h. Does the water color easy to paint over the removed masking fluid?
I usually use a paper towel or putty rubber to remove masking fluid. Make sure your painting is dry. It should not get stuck in the grooves of the paper. I find it ok to paint over the masking fluid in and off the paper. Hope this was helpful.
This is stunning!! I have been following your lessons and trying watercolor and I want to thank you. You do such a lovely job of explaining your techniques. I do have a question, my washy tape pulls my paper and leaves it rough when removed. Do you have that issue?
Thank you! Yes you could paintin daisies in acrylics. I have painted an acrylic daisies here:ua-cam.com/video/X4Hir_Dju0M/v-deo.html hope this was helpful.
😮wow I love this idea. I tried this tutorial but I think I took too much paint off with the circles. They looked more like polkadots😂 The magic eraser did too good of a job erasing
Is the magic sponge the same as a "magic eraser" sponge? Also, did you do the bokeh once the painting was completely dry? Thank you for the tutorial. 🧡
I masked the flowers with masking fluid. Dried it naturally. Then I painted the background wet and wet. Once dry, I remove the masking fluid and painted the centre of the flowers and the shadows on the petals. No white paint required. Hope this is helpful. Happy Daisy painting :-)
I love Daisies too, that's beautiful and so effective. Is that a low tack washy tape? As I have tried masking tape but it rips off the paper as well so is no good.
Thank you 😊 Yes it is washi tape. I use it to frame my watercolours as, after being moistened, it will shrink slightly when it dries and then tightens more securely on a frame.
I use different brands. I recommend Ken Bromley art supplies and Jacksons art supplies masking fluid. You can also use Pebeo It’s and there are many other great brands. I really like using blue masking fluid.
I may not be British but allow me to say the magic sponge and circle stencil is bloody brilliant and beautiful it was ❤️
Thank you! It is so effective 😊

So pleased you are enjoying the tutorials. Some papers are sensitive to tape. Use a hair dryer to soften the glue before removing the tape.
@@KarenRiceArt thank you very much!
Hello Karin, what a beautiful daisies. you make such beautiful art. Can i also make the daisies with acrylic paint?

I’m not sure about the Magic eraser. The magic sponge is a sponge that you can buy in any DIY store to remove marks on painted surfaces.
I love your work .. thanks for sharing. Where do you get your stencils from?
Thank you! You can buy the stencils from Amazon. I bought the one from Artdiscount.co.uk
Thank you Karen 😊
I love this. Thank you for showing us. Did you leave the flowers/out any white paint?❤️🦋
I masked the flowers with masking fluid. Dried it naturally.

I’m checking out the comments and I’m not seeing anything in the comments of how and where to use the stencil
I explain how to use the stencil from two minutes 30 seconds onwards in the video.

Do you have a link to the masking fluid?
I use different brands. I recommend Ken Bromley art supplies and Jacksons art supplies masking fluid. You can also use Pebeo It’s and there are many other great brands. I really like using blue masking fluid.
How did the paint not sick to the daisies?
I use masking fluid to protect the daisies while I was painting the background.
