On any other day Mossy asking "are you Allen?" would be a daft question since he would be the only one on a home made multi-cylinder riding up a trail. Since there were two though... Brilliant to see these actually getting used.

This time Allen turned up mob handed with his mate too so there were two Millyard bikes. On a trail. Good lord imagine being out for a ride and seeing/hearing that. I would think I must have bumped my head a bit hard.

Your riding videos are so good, all the different angles, sharp images and great sound with virtually zero wind noise. Just wanted to acknowledge the effort you put in to each and every video you make. And I've said it before, but to my ears the Z1 Super Six is the best sounding road bike ever. Love Sam's 2 Stroke too.

Both bikes sound absolutely fantastic. This soundtrack is a great example of why I could never love an electric motorcycle. That bloke who came over to you is famous journalist Chris Moss or the infamous 'Mossey' of 44 Teeth fame.

I spent 4 hours making a clutch hub holder for my kawasaki 200 today and felt like master of the universe for its 3 seconds of work... then i see Allens creations.... :)
Used to be a spray you could get that coated the back of the pads and stopped them vibrating against the pistons. Was de rigour for all the Zed riders who brought their bikes to the shop!
Haha I thought that- Some of those early disc brake/Calliper set ups were a pain to stop the squealing- but no way would I criticise a minor irritant when the bike is such a masterpiece.

As a young apprentice carpenter, 30 plus years ago we were advised that if we learned how to construct a gallows bracket we could not refuse to construct one. However, we could decline the opportunity to make one to disqualify for the still standing law! Hanging is outlawed, being pressed into making the equipment is not! Interesting how long that one has lasted! Wonder if it'd hold Boris and one of his pals?
The scream and the blue haze of a two stroke, I loved my T250J and GT380 Suzuki. But fancy waking up one morning and your triple had grown two more cylinders, and then find your 4 cylinder had done the same. X Files stuff of a super mechanic, not of this earth. 👽👽👽👽
I always had a love affair with two strokes. My last one was a Stan Stephens tuned, west Kingsdown Kent, Kawasaki KR1s fully ported and valved with machined squish bands. That thing screamed and crackled like a bat from hell and I had to have the preloaded shock full up and it would still pull wheelies when you hit the power band, what wonderful memories.
I have a ball riding my dead-stock VFR800, I can't imagine how must fun it must be to be riding something so complex and exquisite that you built yourself! Long life and good health to you Allen, you bring more joy to our lives than you could possibly know!
Days and sounds and sights like that is why I end up in tears as I miss our biking days so much. But as I have degenerative spinal condition, I don't have much choice. Greetings from Southern Minnesota USA. I loved this video. Got the chance to see some very nice countryside and some fab bikes. Three years ago I bought my first Kawasaki, In the showroom it looked brand new but i noticed 21,000 miles on the odometer. Since there were no logos on the bike anywhere, it sort of looked like a Harley Davidson but couldn't be sure. I asked the sales lady for more information on it and it turned out to be a 1999 VN 1500 G1A Vulcan 1500 Nomad.. The bike was 20 years old, wow, It looked seriously brand new. Don't remember how much I paid for it after I took it for a test ride, barely on the throttle I was very quickly doing 90 mph. I got back and said "SOLD".. Its an impressive bike to ride. I see the factory specs for a zero to 100 mph being a very rapid 5.25 seconds I ride it to live and have never opened the throttle even half way, you simply have no need to. I am sure its a bike you would love to take for a ride. keep the shiny side up.
That was Easter riding but for my ears and eyes small Christmas. That´s it, handmaded not only for museum, but for a real ride. I definetly enjoyed this video. Stroke me up :)
