We all will have opinions about watches as enthusiasts and collectors. I can sit here and critique the dial for being a bit too cluttered, a bit off etc. but this is brilliant. 24 custom made pieces for his top customers is such an awesome idea. I have made custom watches from a MFG in Hong Kong and even that was an undertaking. The constant in motion airplane is awesome I don’t care what anyone says. If I was to critique it I think they should’ve put the OF logo at the 12 and make it smaller. Made the subdials white, put the date in a different format at the 6 and make it smaller. This would’ve led to better dial symmetry. Again this is my own opinions! It’s still a brilliant piece of art no matter what. The medallion part should be on the back as well as Carl logo. If those were on the case back it would be better. Just my humble opinions.
My grandfather gave me his old watch that he bought at the Bucherer boutique in Lucerne, it says “Bucherer” on the dial not “Carl F Bucherer” I’v never been able to find out what the difference is.

A classless watch with a smudge of red to attract looks...cheap shot and crude hyped up with fancy talk and branding. Like a cheap date who splashes eye shadow to grab a look but there is nothing there at all. Develop the personality not the "look at me" component of the uncouth showy gaudy wannabe pretending to create culture without actually possessing it. In a word, Kevin Oleary.

After 35 years of collecting guys like O'Leary want to make me stop. He needs to stop telling people watches are great investments. The entire watch market is down at least 13% and still dropping. The ones that are collectible are not avalable to the general public. Stop wearing two watches / it's been done plenty times before. Also, wardrobe does not care that all your wathes are red straps either.
