Bought my first luxury watch today and pleased to say it’s a CFB Patravi Big Date! Couldn’t be happier with this beautiful timepiece and hopefully many more to come 👌
It seems to me for a brand with so much history, commitment to progress, manufacturing their own movement, etc etc, Carl F. Bucherer remains much under the radar. The reason I say that is there are very few articles (compared to other brands) on the internet reviewing or discussing Carl F. Bucherer products. On youtube for example, it's hard to find more than one or two videos reviewing their watches. Same for the blogs or other lifestyle websites. Why is that?
funnytortoise probably because they only operated in Switzerland until relatively recently, ie since 2001. They are expanding and becoming better known so now is a good time to buy a seriously excellent but underrated brand!
Lovely video for this iconic brand. Just this week I had the good fortune to purchase at auction a Carl F Bucherer ladies Adamavi 18k white gold with diamonds numbers petite watch. Having owned Rolex’s I was curious when I saw the watch in the auction houses site ….what is this Carl F Bucherer ? Googling the brands history and comparing values I couldn’t pass this opportunity up to own this beautiful little watch, with all its original documentation case and even original shopping bag from the Lucerne boutique purchased in 2013.. I’ve taken it to the CFB Boutique in Philadelphia to have it cleaned properly and assed. Very proud to own a piece of this iconic Swiss brand.
It's an underrated brand for the most part, and one with significant history and relevance. There are some very lovely watches to be found in CFB's portoflio, past and present. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the Adamavi!
I have a vintage Carl f Boucher women's watch with 16 diamonds on each sides of the band it has the number 935 on the clasp a bubble glass with Boucher name on the inside of the glass very luxery watch but I've look at every watch he has made I can't find a picture
I've been trying to find out about the Carl bucherer woman silver vintage watch with yellow diamonds on both sides of the band bubble glass over the face with bucherer name on the face it has 935 on the back and on the clasp
Please don't use the analogy of this work of horology masterpiece to the comparison to the unreliable "Mercedes Benz & Ferrari" that will leave on side of the "Autobahn" but use the very best ever, for reliability "Toyota", for luxury and power "Lexus" that's what a Carl F. Bucherer timepiece is "Perfection".
My vintage Bucherer skeleton pendant watch is one of my favorites.
In house movement, original design and heritage. This brand deserves more recognition.

You can see the individually and unique creativity of an independent brand in the details.
John Wick really loves these watches.
Just received an old vintage Bucherer manual date wind. It’s a beauty. Glad to be apart of the club.
Congrats, and wear it in good health!

I am wearing the same Swiss-made Bucherer watch in 2020 that my father gave me in 1968. What does that tell you about the brand?
Its not innovative and not experimenting enough
@@arshjotjattana1210 the fact that their watch can last 60 years tells you they aren’t experimenting? What?

It's impossible that it is a Carl F Bucherer. It maybe could be a Bucherer, and they are two different brands.
Carl F.Bucherer 🔝🔝🔝

What's the difference between the C F Bucherer peripheral rotor, and an old fashioned bumper auto?
It reduce the thickness of the movement substantially.
