My husband and I have always taken little trips with each other. We had a wonderful lady who helped us with our kids. Sometimes we would just go to a local nice hotel, dress up, go out to a fabulous dinner and sleep late the next day. And our kids had a ball having a slumber party with Martha! We went back to our kids happier, rested, and relaxed. Spending time and money on your marriage makes for a happy family! Loved hearing all about your trip. Fun!

I have been a huge fan of the music of the 1960’s since I was a little kid, so when I was 16 I was thrilled to be able to go see The Rolling Stones in concert. That was in 1982. I felt so lucky to have the chance to see one of the biggest groups of the 60’s and 70’s. I figured they wouldn’t be touring much longer…. 😊😂😂😂😂
Oh how wrong I was! Of course they went on to tour a million more times since then. I saw them again about a dozen years ago or so. And they are still going strong!

My husband and I just went to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta also. We went in September to see George Strait, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, and Little Big Town we stayed in a hotel that we could walk to and from so no need for an Uber. We had field seats and we’re pretty close, but I’m short and had a hard time seeing over some of the tall people but what a fun experience it was!

My daughter lives in Buckhead, and when I fly in to Atlanta, I take the MARTA train. It is so much easier than Uber or Taxis. The cost of a one ride trip is $2.50 and you don't sit in traffic at all! The stop at Buckhead is right around the corner from where she lives. (Across from the Lennox mall). Just an idea for next time. The people watching is fun too! I ride alone and have never felt unsafe either.

This was a great video Lisa. It's good to see Kohn. My favorite go to concert is anything John Mayer. My hubby and I go when ever he's in Charlotte. We live in SC. I like to dress like you, very cute but comfortable. I don't like busy tees either. I have a pr of retro jeans that I haven't worn in awhile. Yes, same. And I am very lucky because my parents were happy to watch our kids! I lost my husband 13 years ago, and am so so glad we did those things when we could.
