Awesome, really looking forward to this one. The way you use a classic jazz standard tune to cover so many of the varied techniques and jazz disciplines is absolutely brilliant! No hyperbole intended I’m serious, I’m learning so much and improving so much it’s testimony to the methods you employ to teach for me. So many thanks yet again mate.
This is a super informative lesson for the beginner. If only you would do this for Fire and Rain. That lesson you did was not for the beginner. Thanks for a great lesson.
on a min you kind of think of Bb7 going into it or e7? I guess I mean Vs going into each chord or like a 2 diminished of each chord dropping one of the 4 to make different 7th chords?
hi Tony i am recently studing My Romance trying to use the Dim accord and making it independant in the four mediant options so A7 going to Dm Fm Ab minor or Bminor of course seen as C7 when going to Fminor but I remeber that A7 Fminor or in Blue Bossa E7 to Cminor is a situation that exists in the Literature? where?? in Along Came Betty is E7 going to Cmi7 I remeber that such a case is also seen as Phrygian Dominant but nit so often used I believe Herbie Hancock came up with this one....
I always watch from Japan!
It is easier to understand than anyone else's!
