As a Bristol lad me and my pals who used to attend Stafford College would love a Thursday night in the Colosseum night club then a kebab from the end of Wolverhampton road then back to our digs the Bailey hotel on the Lichfield road happy days!!!!!!

I was born in Australia, lived in Dublin for 20 years, London for 13 years and been in Stafford for almost 1 year.
I love living in Stafford, yes it's quiet (not a party town) and very local but that's it's charm, the people are super friendly, and it's easy to visit some of the best places in the UK. There's mountain biking, hiking, a 2 hours drive to North Wales, Peak District is approx. 2-3 hours drive. For this type of adventure its the place to be, there's no surfing near by, from London you're half way to Scotland.
The train service is excellent, fast train 1hr.15 to London Euston.
Come and visit Stafford it's central for your adventure
