We work extremely hard to serve you guys the highest quality story reading content. Each video takes a lot of effort when it comes to thinking of topics, ideation, editing, voice-acting, recording, etc. All the content in these videos are owned by us!
Our Work Process:
1. Come up with questions, research, script, come up with opinions/commentary, polish until ready for recording.
2. Record voice acting the stories/questions, sharing thoughts and opinions and performing it in a creative and transformative fashion for viewers to enjoy.
3. Record gameplay until there is enough interesting footage to use for the background
4. Throw the gameplay in the editing software and then begin typing up the captions, cutting/trimming the voice acting, adding SFX, color correction, removing/adding clips, etc.
5. Final review of the video, if video is not up to the quality desired for this channel. Either go back into the editing software, re-record some lines, change opinions/commentaries.
no, because i honestly love this narrator so much. he's so dramatic with his narration it feels like youre there watching it in real time
i really appreciate the character that this narrator puts into his storytelling
I can’t fall asleep to this guys way of narration 😭
We need old guy back
Sounds like an issue not an ish-mee
I like it - but I listen to these at work and the text-to-speech ones start to drone and get annoying after a while.
@@sadeatthewhip1846the shitty AI ones are cringe inducing ASMR ones are worse
@@j_mars_cars nah mate it’s called feedback and criticism- something anyone should be able to take without being butthurt
Your narration is the best and I was cackling, thank you for the sound effects!!!
lol seriously! story 36 was my fav!
First 10 minutes and no poop stories? I’m surprised.
Especially since it’s Walmart.
Lol just wait, they come later. :p
Two hours of proof that Walmart workers/retail employees work one of the most thankless and underappreciated jobs in the country. They deserve to be paid more and if you disagree then you try working these jobs
i worked at a walmart for a few months once. My horror story is partly my fault. one slow day we get a call at the fitting rooms that they need a volunteer to help a customer shop. I volunteered and the person who needed help was blind so they explained that he would hold the handle of a cart and I'd lead from the front. Well they get him ready and a person behind the customer service counter distracts me and the customer thinking we were starting begins to walk... Hitting a wall. I still feel bad, i will never make a mistake like that again. I hope he wasnt hurt...
Co-workers have a way of distracting others with stupid stuff.
I worked at a walmart for 3 Christmas breaks and one 1.5 year stint. My favourite story is the woman who came in right after Christmas to return a turkey because it was too dry. We sold frozen turkeys. This woman had cooked the burd poorly and her and her family had eaten most of it but she still insisted that she get a refund. She screamed so loud we could hear her in the staff room.
I also heard from a coworker that once a woman had tried to steal a frozen turkey by putting it under her shirt and pretending she was pregnant. It took less than a minute for the cold shock to hit and she passed out. As soon as her body hit the floor the turkey flew out from under he shirt and went down the entire aisle.
Hilarious!
The story about the guy peeing on donuts and the manager demanding the baker to clean it up. We need to encourage employees making minimum wage at giant corporations/franchises to say "You don't pay me enough and that's not in my job description"
Too many young kids, shy adults, people pleasers and the like should be encouraged to say no.
I've told drive through employees at taco bell, chick fil a, McDonald's, etc that "They don't pay you enough to care, do they?" When they get stingy about extra sauce. Having worked a my share of fast food places, I know.
When my mom worked there in the 80s one day suddenly an alarm went off and a security guard tells everyone to stay up front and hauls a## to the back of the store. My mom was told to lock all the doors and she did. Mom heard screaming and crying and wondered what the hell was going down. An hour later the ok was given. Mom knew the guards and asked what happened. It turns out the door greeter, a man that was just hired last week, decided to grab a butcher knife and randomly chase a 6 year old girl around the store! He chased her to customer service where her mom and a guard was luckily and he called for back up. The guy also grabbed draino along the way and he choose to chug it right there and convulsed then he died. The mom sued Walmart for the traumatizing event. My mom quit after that.
1st story had me like what the hell
I like this narrator. When he reads a story he gets so into it that you would believe he was the one who went through the experience
you're so right! i love how dramatic he is with these, it's like he's telling a scary campfire story.
So...story 48 is NOT ok. Total invasion of privacy, and probably illegal in some way. It's not even about what's in the photos (although that would be even more mortifying!), it's that the photo department employees have no business taking photos out of the store or showing them to anyone else. THEY'RE NOT YOURS. Ugh.
@@pseula it's troublesome to me that not a lot of people seem to be concerned about it either
I was wondering if anyone else was going to say something about that. That is like incredibly gross
Fun joke I worked for a multi billion dollar company oh so you worked at Walmart 😂😂 I mean it’s technically not a lie
That first story sounds completely normal for short people. They’re naturally more aggressive to make up for their lack of size, it’s called Napoleon Complex. It happens in many animals, including dogs!
"Topping the toilet" my parent said that certain employees would take turns taking dumps without flushing in the family bathroom and for some reason it was able to go on for a long time until a manager had walked in the bathroom and saw a literal mountain of poo higher than the toilet rim. Im pretty sure they just took the whole toilet off the wall and threw it out
It must've stank to high heaven.

The brother and sister with the pregnancy tests could have meant a lot of other things. The brother could have covered for her while she was out with her boyfriend, or he could’ve let her bf stay over while their parents were out. Or maybe they just have those weird parents that punish both kids for everything.
I sure hope your right
I thought the same thing. I have an older brother whom I'm very close with (NOT like that) and we would ABSOLUTELY cover for each other, especially in such a potentially dire circumstance!
Oh boy, finally a topic for me!
Worked at Walmart as a cashier/service desk associate for 5 years. While I have many stories, here are my "favorite" three.
1. In my state, we ID for cigarettes and alcohol if you look under 40. Had a lady in her twenties come through and ask for cigarettes. We also were required to handle the cigarettes until they were payed for. Got her the cigarettes, scanned them, chatted with her as my first customer of the day while I waited for her to pay, and she immediately accuses me of accusing her of stealing, even though I do this for anyone and everyone that asks for cigarettes, even if I know them. She has me remove them from the order, she says she'll go get cigarettes from the gas station from now on. Fine, whatever. She then returned every few weeks and did her best to avoid eye contact with me, asked any other associate besides me for cigarettes, and would always end up getting me to come over anyway because I was the only associate of age to grab and ring up cigarettes. She was always very rude to me and insisted I "had it out for her", when in reality, I was just doing my job and making sure I didn't break any laws. She'd always leave her stuff where it was if I came over and walk out.
2. During a closing shift, it's very typical for the last few customers to stay passed the doors locking (post-covid times where some Walmart stopped being 24-hours). It's also typical for the last customer to be someone trying to shop lift thinking since we were closing, there would be less customers and associates to suspect them.... except now I only have them to watch and it's not hard to tell when someone is genuinely guilty and trying to hide something from you. Had a guy walk up 30 minutes past closing after several employees ushered him to bring his stuff up to the self-checkout. I immediately notice the pristine shoes he had on compared to his dirty, ratty clothing. I go up to him and start the process of checking the usual suspects of where people may hide things, and yeah, he put his old shoes in a much cheaper box and tried to pass it off. But what really stopped me was seeing all of the torn open packages that were missing several folding knives from the sporting goods section. Had no idea how he got the knives since the associate usually left about an hour before closing, and more importantly, I didn't know *where* the knives were or what the man's intent could be. I was training a new associate at the time and just told the guy, "Have a good night" and walked away without any further interaction.
3. Had to watch the door after closing and I had a handheld device with me to also watch the Self-checkout from afar while some new associates shot the shit and weren't paying attention. Noticed the usual last customer come in with a basket full of womens' clothes, and I was curious and peeked at my device. Not a single shirt or jean on the order, just .57 cent thin and cheap school folders. Couldn't get the associates' attention discretely before she went to start paying, so I left the door and handled it myself. She yelled and raved at me saying she scanned everything while I noticed that her phone had a barcode taped onto the back of the case. I complimented her phone case, saying it was a unique design. She stammered, stared at her phone and left in quite a hurry. And before you wonder why I didn't take her to another register and rescan the stuff for her with the proper price, there was no other register with a till at the time and all my managers had gone home already, meaning I couldn't properly build a case for AP in the way they wanted me to. Just left the copy of the receipt with a statement at service desk. She was banned the next time she came into the store trying the same thing with a different barcode. Managers stopped leaving early before all the customers were gone after that, because it's always either the last person, or someone within the last 15 minutes or so.
And this was all in a relatively good neighborhood. I will never work for Walmart again.
It's true how customers come in just steal at closing time. I have seen that many times.
That first story with Eric (Josh) had so many twists and turns!! God damn! I was rooting for him but that final twist shot that down
Not as crazy as walmart stories but superstore is kinda like a walmart reality tv show
Nah I went for a wreath hanger last Christmas. Garden center guy didn’t know how to spell “wreath” when typing it in on the PDA. Same Walmart, asked if they had duvet covers. Back and forth of her mispronouncing it. “Oh you mean a DOO-BAY. You ain’t said it right” and then she disappeared. Bottom of the barrel, on the whole, employees and customers alike.
idk why you’d want a walmart tv show, all this screams is “hey let’s parade around people having a rough time and laugh at their misery” , like sure some are absolute assholes, but others seem to be in need of housing and medical care, and putting them on air is probably gonna make the assholes get the biggest ego boost
That first story, my boyfriend works for Walmart as an API and while it is true that you don't have to go with the employee if you're stopped for stealing, if you don't and continue trying to steal, they will call the police. Also to people justifying stealing from a billion dollar corporation, those actions sadly also affect the wages of people like my boyfriend and even average employees. So the people stealing food to "stick it to the man" are also stealing the money that goes to the employees to feed their own families.
My local Walmart had someone walk in wearing a full cat girl costume and being led on a leash. Definitely the weirdest thing I’ve seen
you tell stories so amazingly. The one about huffy and the one about Eric had me on the floor simply by your radio playing
18:56 “Roll Tide moment” lmfao
I'm 19 and i've worked at walmart for about a year and a few months, and when i first got there i asked what some of the weirdest things found on the shelf were, and i was not prepared for this one. Someone had grabbed a cornish hen off the shelf and carried it though the store before (probably) assuming they didn't want it anymore and hid this chicken behind some stuffed animals on the other side of the store.
Fast forward a few weeks later and this hen has finally been found in a far off stage of decomposition and the clear plastic wrap/seal of the chicken is inflated like a balloon and is now a disgusting green/grey color. One poor guy was tasked with removing it and the second he touched that thing it exploded, sending rotten chicken all over the isle and the surrounding shelf, and the guy who touched it. for about 2 weeks the smell was so bad thart no one wanted to clean it and im told the one who got coated in "chicken death" simply cleaned off and finished his shift like a freaking legend.
my friend works at walmart, and he told me about how someone spilled deer pee in one of the aisles. yes, it's in florida.
16:18 Omg The Cobra Kai Reference XD
Jesus his effing self either read you or realthing real just went down
The stories I have of the year and a half I worked there. Two of my coworkers almost got in a fight because one of them was a dumbass and tried pinning the screw up on the other. I ran over my own foot with a pallet jack, and while hopping around, shouted "Sugar cookies!" because it was right around Christmas and there were kids around, the same foot I later dropped a massive pipe wrench on. I was forced to climb far higher than I was comfortable with to get down almost 30 bags of mulch because the only two people who were allowed to use the forklift and pallet lift had gone home for the day (afraid of.heights and ladders over 3 feet tall now).
I just want to say that I was apprehensive to listen to Walmart stories because well... Walmart. But the narrator made this sh*t 10 times more enjoyable with his sound effects haha gooood job ma' man!
lol i just got fired a few weeks ago cause i almost shit myself at work and they wouldnt let me go home
funnily enough, i almost shat myself on the way to walmart, i had to stop at a freaking Jimmy johns in order to use the bathroom there and check to see if i had shat myself. luckily i hadn't.
@@Jerry_the_Head i thought i did. its a miracle i didnt. those are the worst ones
I would have raised holy hell.
1:10:05 this is a vile invasion of privacy? 😢
I know right! What shitty people! That's why I am not a fan of these "Walmart people" types of stories, often it comes down to making fun of people or straight out mistreating them just because they go to Walmart, wtf
Waiting for the poop stories :(
Edit: story 44.
I worked at a small grocery store and have 2 stories. Shit happens, people poop and sometimes they don't make it to their destination before it comes.
@thelazarous yeah :(
@@thelazarous Or the people who are the IQ of a caveman and draw on walls and even the ceiling with their own feces😂

I really like this story
22:08
Total paralysis from waist or neck down isn't the only reason people need mobility scooters or wheelchairs. Walking or moving their legs isn't shocking or evidence if ""fAkiNg"" (the prevalent assumption that it is literally gets dissbled people physically assaulted. Sonetimes also filmed and posted without their consent).
Wishing everyone watching will always be happy, healthy and happy in life!!!
Love your narration style! Your enthusiasm is a refreshing change from all of those crappy monotone AI voices, thanks for being real. :) As for all of these people going to Walmart in their pj's, I say why not? I haven't gotten to *quite* that level yet, but I live in a small, rural town, and I've gone to the Post Office after hours on at least one occasion in my pj's, when I was pretty sure no one would be around. The main office is closed and locked, but they leave the front door open so that people can come in and collect their mail from the boxes in the lobby. I also live alone and have six cats, soooo.....I'm getting there! I'm not the crazy cat lady yet, but I aspire to be one day. A girl can dream. ;)
Was listening. Fell asleep. Woke up. And heard a man put a 6yo in a headlock for a tickle me elmo and i immediately started laughing 😂😂
58:07 I don't think I'm a very big fan of this OP. They seem to be very confused as to what "transgender male" means.
Hint: if they're trans, and they have a masculine body, and they wear skirts, _they're a trans WOMAN, and you call her SHE!_
I'm not saying it was appropriate for her to have been wearing clothes where her underwear was visible, but she still has a right to her identity, and OP is, at best...very confused.
1:06 CHILL GUY MENTIONED😂😂
My favorite narrator 🎉
I grew up in Illinois, and when we got a new Superwal-mart, they were open 24 hours. Can confirm that late night/early morning wal-mart is a whole 'nother can of worms!
At 52:43 I swear to god the narrator sounds like John from spooky month
Goodnight everyone
Ah, Eric and the steak guy! Lmao! My favorite wal-mart story!
Eric is a superhero. Everyone wants to be Eric, but are too afraid to do something extreme.
Well I haven't seen anything like these scenarios, and probably (and hope) I don't encounter any.
True story: At my walmart we had somebody who kept "shrimping" us....they would take a bag of frozen shrimp and throw it up on high shelves or behind displays. Sometimes it would be pretty hard to find because the smell lingers so long.
I worked at Walmart for only a few months when I first moved to Illinois…oh, the stories…
Add in the chaos of two stalkers, one of which being one of the employees..never again.
Bro i really appreciate the voiceover and effects that you do but I joined this channel for the mellow voice with nothing too high or too low which is perfect before sleep, i saw someone else say smth about the same thing so obviously we're your demographic, use us wisely 😅 enough with the jolts of energy keep that to a morning podcast or smth

Hey there!
@ you sound so much like cougar from EzPz!!
I can't understand how anyone could huff duster in the middle of Walmart.
Not a Walmart employee but the incident that happened a few weeks back where that poor girl was found inside a industrial sized Walmart oven
That is so sad.
I've never been this early for something 😂
First Question: Why?
Second Question: Why?
In reality: Don't really wish to know since these stories prove why it isn't worth it
I worked 1 year at walmart. This guy walked in set on the benches they have at the Pharmacy and pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head. All cause a girl he was dating that worked there broke up with him.
Thank you, Narrator 😊
This one was good and entertaining. Great reading|performance🌷🕊️
About 6 years ago, I was leaving work on a Saturday night, when I saw a coworker sitting in the paper towel aisle surrounded by coworkers, managers and EMTs, screaming and suffering a seizure. I was off the next two days (Sunday and Monday), but when I came back, there was a table with the guy's picture and badge on it. From what I heard, Sunday, he wasn't feeling well, and rather than go to the break room to rest, he had gone into the personnel office, and sat at one of the tables that was out of view of door, and the room has motion sensor light controls. He must have had another seizure and fell out of his chair, hitting his head on the floor. Being Sunday, the personnel lady wasn't there, and nobody else went in there for two hours, and he was already stiff at that point.
Also, back around 2000, when I was working at a regional grocery chain in the Washington DC area, I had gone to use the bathroom, and found a guy pale and passed out on the floor in one of the stalls. I thought he was dead with how pale he was, so called the store manager immediately. He had an office person call 911 and had me guard the bathrooms so customers couldn't see. The EMTs found a needle under him. He had shot up and passed out. Wish I could say this had a happy ending, but I later found out that after he was released, he went home and shot up again, and passed away.
I've had many associates pass away from various causes while I worked there; aneurism, bad fall, self-harm, locked in the freezer, heart-attack. It seems to track that Walmart works you to the bone until you just give out.
@@Zivalenea lot of retail workers have underlying health issues.
Story 48 is...nasty. Wtf.
Hiiiii
Hello!
Bonjour 👋
The microwave guy was so dumb... Like just buy another of the same microwave, swap the broken one into the box and return it SMH.
Thanks for all you are forced to put up with. I've never had an issue.
Story 6, the stockers should get out of the way of customers. If they can't get around, then the fure marshall should come in and shut down the store. The customers aren't being rude. Walmart is being cheap and dangerous.
1:53 yes eric is a dwarf, 4 foot tall is considered and dwarf, or a short stature person, anything under 4 foot 10 is considered short stature or dwarf of some degree. and eric sounds like a fuckin' boss btw ! hell yeah !!
Dwarves and midgets are now called little people. A person with dwarfism has a normal-sized torso with shorter limbs. A midget has a torso and limbs that are in proportion.
I've been waiting for this!! This lady walked into the backroom in a panic where I was and I asked her if I could help her find something. She said she was looking for the restroom so I showed her the way and as I went past her to go back to work the smell hit me... she had shit herself.
Another story I was walking to the backroom and passed a lady wearing a moo moo dudnt think anything of it once I got to the back someone had asked me if I see someone they were looking for so I look out the door to see moo moo lady bent over to pick something up and she was NOT WEARING UNDERWEAR!! Just bare butt for the world to see 😂
Watched a man stick his hand in his girls pants and stick his finger in her butt and then pull it out and smell it
Had a lady try on clothes in the stall and come out butt naked asking for a different size saying its just right here ill grab it real quick.
A couple came in every week wearing the same thing from head to toe and bought 2 new pair of shoes and always smelled so bad of cat pee you could smell it 2 isles over.
Had a guy bring a large dog in and would put the dog in the cart and use a pet bed from pets section and let his dog pee on it then proceed to put it back on the shelf before leaving. He was kicked out and not allowed anymore.
I'm sure there are many many more just can't remember right now lol😂
Once when I was working there someone taped razor blades to the handles of the carts
Another time a woman was caught playing with her own poop
A few times we would be cleaning and someone would take off running through the nearby emergency exits with what they could carry, example that I personally remember was two box fans
I used to wax floors and the ways people would go about trying to get around our blocked off area was always funny or very annoying, once an employee climbed over several shelves to get stuff for an online pick up order but more often than not people would just walk through our wax usually leaving footprints in that we wouldn’t always catch
There was this one shoplifter that everyone could recognize because he had a big white patch in his beard and my direct supervisor would circle anywhere that the guy was seen
I could go on all day with a list of different things that happened during my 3 years on overnights but these were a few that came to my mind
I can't fall asleep to Eric's story... Until the end just ruined it.
only real horror story of walmart employee is working for walmart lol
4:42 The chances are crazy (I don't work at walmart chat) but friend here just described the walmart a mile from my house, and this did happen there. But this probably happens at every walmart. I mean cmon, it's walmart. It would be hilarious if this was a certain walmart in florida.

Yes you can refuse the goat for service animals because only a dog can be a service animal that is the law look up the disability act of America and you would know this that only dogs can be service animals play next time somebody comes into your establishment and they say this animal is their service animal and it's not a dog will you can take them out as long as it isn't a dog that someone says is a service animal that is not a dog
Not true, you can also have a mini horse as a service animal.
if you work for a giant corporation and feel the need to hold up the line to call the police on someone for something as petty as a fake hundred, then you’re definitely the problem.
1. The employee told them what was happening, the customers just chose not to leave.
Doing the bare minimum of listening/ reading along with the story would have cleared that up.
2. I wouldnt consider a fake 100 dollars petty, considering that counterfeiting money of any kind is a felony
Nooooo, where's the good narrator? Can't listen to this guy 😩
