Murder on my mind was written in jail for aggravated assault and discharging a firearm in public while Melly was sixteen. This was nineteen months before he had shot and killed two of his childhood friends and then was put in prison

@@nomadnoproblem3213 no he wasn’t proven guilty bro. He was arrested yes, but at his trial they had a mistrial occur cuz the jury couldn’t come to an agreement. So he’s sitting in jail waiting for his next trial date

This song is about another case of his and he made it well before the double murder arrest.

So basically Melly was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and he has six different personalities and he claims only 4 have been revealed to the world.
Melly,Marvin,Marcus,Melvin.
He claims the one you don’t wanna meet is Melvin and he only comes out at night.
He says that Melvin killed this person and his to best friends in 2018 or 2019 I think.
He’s currently on the death penalty with the jury at 4-8.
A lot of people hope he just gets a long sentence but I think it’s less likely to happen but I still have little bits of hope for him.
I relate to murder on my mind bc of my suicidal ideations I had a few years ago. It is almost comforting to know other people have thoughts so dark. It is sad though, his story is tragic.

People also, why is it always guilty until proven wrong instead of innocent til proven guilty, cuz his whole case is twisted and i honestly dont believe he did what is allegedly said, and trust me its my opinion cause i disputed a lot with the case instead of some who are just hearing „trial for murdering his 2 best friends“ and are instantly convinced without going through the facts & details… Like him or not, Melly is extremely talented music-wise and man, i just wish Broadie well.
