Nice video awsome job. That was very helpful. And it does make the awards look more sharp and very professional. look forward to. More videos like this. 👍
Hey man! Appreciate this vid not much out there for the Aux. I'm in the process of joining right now, and I actually would love for you to do a video about your combination cover, How to set it up, And which cover a new member should buy. I'd love it if you did that!
If you're in the auxiliary, why are you wearing active duty rank insignia? Aux wears an 'A' as a component of their rank insignia. Is there a reason you're wearing bars without an 'A'? Thx.
sam stultz No you do not. As with all branches of service, Officers must furnish uniforms at their own expense. Since the USCG AUX is an all officer component, even though volunteer, we must furnish uniforms at our own expense.

Did you ever get in ? How long did it take for your application to get through ?
Thanks for this video. It is very helpful.
Nick, nice job on this!
Do prior service ribbons, such as Armed Forces Expeditionary and Navy Sea Service ribbons have precedence over the auxiliary ribbons?
Never mind. I found the answer at ribbons.cgaux.info/cgi-bin/ribbons.pl .
Yes. Actual military takes precedence I have 6 ribbons from the Corps.
Do you have the chart as a PDF? Great video but the way.
Good video! Keep them coming!
thanks for making this video.
What kind of deployment do you go on in the interpreter corps
What kinda uniform will you get in the coast guard auxiliary
sam stultz
There are alot. Primary two are
Service Dress Blue

Google coast guard Auxiliary uniform and you will see
@@nickteague8620 can auxiliarist wear identification tags (dog tags) when deploying with the interpreter corps
What’s up with the chevrons being out of regs

Was wondering the same...
I'm new to this but I thought you said FSO-HR wouldn't that be a gold bar(LT) with an A, not double bars(Captain)
@@jamesshuman6298 LOL, double bars is LT (navy & uscg; captain in other branches), a single gold bar is Ensign, and a single silver bar is LT (j.g.).
He’s probably AUP, Coast Guard’s equivalent to college ROTC. They are also AUX members.
One more question do we get all of the coast guard auxiliary uniforms when I join
sam stultz

If you google...USCG AUX uniform manual, you’ll find all this info and more.
Good old super glue!
